Whenever I smoke and I take huge hits, I usually try to hold them for as long as possible and end up swalloing some thinking im inhaling whats in my mouth. I later usually burp up the biggest hits of the session. I mean, I burp out huge hits. So I am wondering, does swalloing the smoke get you high too?

All my friends do that too but wouldn't that take the smoke to your stomach? I just inhale dude.

that happens to me all the time. and whenever thtat happens i kno im getting high. its kool too cause sometime ill burp and smoke will come out like a couple mintues after im done smoking. once me and some people just got done smoking and went in taco bell and i burped up smoke inside and we all had to leave we was laughing so hard lol

it does because it can still get in you system, like when you take pills or something, thats how it gets to where it needs to go.

almost got caught that way, just finished smoking a couple j's at a park behind my house, and im walking into the garage thinking its all good and i burp up a shit load of smoke while my mom was opening the door into the garage

wat about eating weed, it gets u high cause it gets absorbed anyway, not as much as loungs but if u accidentally swallow smoke its ok

u cannot swallow smoke, since its like breathing ur taking in air, so it closes off the path that goes to ur stomach and opens the one that goes to ur lung. the only way i imagine swallowing smoke will be like eating and smoke at the same time.

cus...its called a ghost hit, when u keep it in around 35-40 secs or more ur lungs absorb it smart ass and itll come out eventually when u least expect it

i only swallow smoke when im already extremely high and i meet up with ppl that start smoking and i smoke more but i can't inhale properly. sometimes accidently i swallow smoke but thats when i inhale to my lungs are filled and i try to force more down but the smoke builds up in my mouth and u think u inhale but ur swallowing<< again only happens when im already high

Eating weed and swallowing smoke are two very different things. Gases in your stomach are always released, not absorbed. What do you think burps and farts come from? I know it's 'ok' if you accidentally swallow smoke...but it won't do anything.

I'd rather swallow the tiny bit of smoke thats in my mouth and be able to clear the hit rather than take a hundred tiny hits. And besides it makes you look cool when you can rip that shit so good and then clear it.

you know what, i'm bringing up this post again next time i get weed...i'm going to swallow a good 5 or 6 hits WITHOUT INHALING ONE BIT and see if i get high...just be patient. i'll find out for you all

Whenever I swallow it, it pretty much feels the same as I inhale it... I still blow out the same amount of smoke. Swallowing it probably gets you the same or higher than inhaling like usual.

I don't think it would be possible. Isn't THC fat-soluble, and it needs a heat source to activate the burning of it?
