hehe, I have some mace in my car, and my friend sprayed some just to see how far it went, and the wind blew it right back in the car. Let me tell you, AVOID being hit by some mace if you can at all. Its VERY unpleasant.

For self defense, a taser would be much better, as it completely makes any assailants limp and useless, as to where mace might anger and enrage cartain bearish attackers. Get the kind of tazer that shoots the barbs out. If you can over there, I don't really know....

Well, if you sprayed some on a 250 lb. crazy ass chav, he might just go crazy. I've seen lots of vids on the net where there are 4 cops all beating on one guy while spraying him in the face with mace, and he is still fucking all of them up, going crazy, punching them in the face, etc etc.

Buy a Blank Firing Gun, I have a Desert Eagle in 8mm blank, which is loud as a bastard. I also have an air rifle (most powerful it can be without a licence - 12ft/lbs) and a Beretta 92FS (nickel:D) which is also rather powerful
I suggest just pulling a blank firing gun, as they would shit themselves when you pointed it at them, and as they're running away, fire a few rounds at them, hopefully they won't fuck with you again:)

That's about the worst advice I've ever read! What would you do if you pulled a blank firing gun out and someone else pulled a real gun out??? Quickly explain that it's not a real gun and appologize?? The only time you ever pull a firearm on someone is with the intention of using it on them, not to scare them. Pepperspray is serious!!! I am in Canada and I only speak through my own experiences and what I have read of the situation with youth gangs in UK. You live there and have said yourself that the likely event would be retalliation from them as a large group. You would need to answer with more of the same. Where would it end?

I killed a frog an hour ago *proud*
I shot it in the stomach in mid-air when it jumped, (with my .177 air rifle) and it did a couple of flips and landed on the floor, still moving, so i shot it twice in the chest, killing it, then another 5 times to make sure, because it was windy and it's legs were blowing and i thought it was alive hehe. I felt kind of bad after the first shot, but i have been looking for one to shoot for a year now, and this is the first shot i managed to get at one, so i took it.
oh by the way, i didn't leave it after the first shot, i felt bad so shot it twice more in like 10 seconds (so not much pain)
Some may think "Cruel bastard" but it was fun so i don't mind the comments:D

It's kinda funny man, I have been carrying for more than 20 years.
My lifestyle and "co-workers" dictate this, how I make my money is dangerous and my life could end suddenly.
Having said that in 20 years have only pulled my gun 3 times and only once was I forced to shoot.
There was no time to think about where to put the bullet, so it ended up at the same spot as my target practice always does.
Not a pleasent experience, but I lived to tell the tale.
The other thing is when you kneecap someone, guess what they will say they were not threatening your life.
The right shot at the right time and there is only ONE side to the story!

Very true! I forgot to mention that I live in Maryland and am always being stopped by cops. We do have carry laws here in MD, but you pretty much have to know the pope to get one. It is very very restricted unfortunately. It would be nice to have my AR-15 in the trunk of my car just incase it is ever needed. But in my area, I seem to be more threatened by the police than by criminals. Crime is pretty low in my area and bored cops are everywhere.
