Did you journal the info on this in the grow section. I would like to know what exactly you did there.

Thanks

No ... I didn't journal it. Would have it I knew how it would turn out. Here's what I did though

1. bag seed (was supposed to be good stuff, but 2 plants sucked, the other two were very good.

2. Kept a fan on them whenever the lights were on -- found a nice one that does rhythmic fanning, auto changes speeds

3. Kept a vent fan running at all times to keep fresh air coming in.

4. Used an HPS 600 light setup the whole way thru.

5. Palnted in soil 3-5 gallon containers

6. Used duro-grow and duro-bloom formula mixed with Liquid Karma. Watered evry 2-3 days or as needed. Fert 1-2 times per week, as much as they can take without turning on you.

7. Used 18/6 lights for the first 2 months (I let them get big bewfore I moved into 12/12 cycle). Topped 3 times to create more stalks.

8. Used my pocket microscope (10 dollars at radio shack) to keep an eye on the trichromes -- and when they went cloudy -- I harvested.

9. The rest was genetics mixed with a little luck and a lot of help from everyoe at cannabis.com

I'll have that posted for ya in about a week or two . I'm still guessing about 1/4 pound.

Maybe I'll start a guess the total weight thread ...

Nice. When I move out, I'm growing for sure. How much did your setup cost you?

Nice. When I move out, I'm growing for sure. How much did your setup cost you?

I built my growroom using 3/4" PVC and draped the frame with panda plastic (black on the outside, white on the inside. Am going to add a roll of mylar down lower to cover the bottom of the plants better. I used a half a sheet of 1/2" plywood for the floor -- I strategically placed extra PVC under the floor for extra support. The room is about 4x4x7 1/2. I grew 3 large plants in there with room for another. So far your into it for about $50.00 bucks, depending on if you can salvage some board for the floor.

I used two 5' pieces of dog chain (about $5 for chains and hooks) and some 's' hooks to hang the lights from (that was the only expensive part--the lights that is)

I mounted (ingeniously I might add) a 100 CFM bathroom fan (you can get a fan for about $13 -- I spent more on a good one like $50.00) to continuosly vent the room -- the plastic wasn't secured at the bottom, plus the front flap seemed to provide adequate air intake.

Finally, I took a house fan we already had and stuck it in there -- blowing whever the light was on. I just upgraded to a standing fan, with random variable speeds ($40.00). I like the 2 and a half foot vertical flow it puts out.

If you go with cheap fans, you can do the room for under $100 easy. Use any extra plastic to make a liner for the floor. Tape it to each corner -- in case of spills.

Y'know I just had to respond to a thread entitled "DONKEY DICKS"....

Is it that the plants represent DONKEY DICKS???

Please elaborate....

You got it right, the long buds have the (I wish) girth and length of a donkey dick. The term refers to any long stalk of bud dense enough to cover a good length of stalk.

Not to be confused with pin-prick

So that vent is hooked right up to the rest of the house or did you just plug it in? nice setup btw.

The vent is just blowing into my room right now, but it's going to run up throught the closet ceiling and through a roof vent shortly

Ah well, nice harvest. -shrugs-

OR Freebird, great work... I am salivating as I type this... Let us know how it smokes. Just curious, did you cure with any fruit juices? In Wa., used to give the ladies diluted apple or pineapple juice, in the last week, then the last two or three waterings, just plain water and it gave it a nice, sweet, mellow smoke.

OR Freebird

I'd have to say it smokes pretty well. I've been stoned constantly since I started this thread -- but alas, I'm already starting to run low and am wishing I started my new baby girls sooner.

Also, forgot to mention

Gardner & Bloome organic soil. It has bat guano and lots of other good shit in it (pun intended). My plants love the stuff
