Anyone doing anything fun/special? We're doing the typical BBQ on Monday and having some friends over. The kids will go swimming and the adults will hopefully get high and hang out. :) I say hopefully b/c we're out at the moment, but our friends and family that are coming are a pretty generous group. ;)

I'm just bored as fuck right now so I'm trying to come up with stuff to post. :p

Well, my friend is supposed to be coming back from Alabama with about $250 worth of fireworks. We plan to go on the nearby dam and launch some fireworks over the lake. All this while getting plastered on a bottle of nice cold whiskey, and a shitton of blunts.

Hey, what's the deal with fireworks in Alabama? They sell them all year round?

We had a very LOOOOOONG drive through AL a few weeks ago and I noticed fireworks signs all over the place.

Well, fireworks are illegal here in Georgia, so the closest place that sells them is AL, so there are stands all over the border. What a gay law. All it fucking does is waste gas.

This place sounds like WWIII on the 4th of July.

BTW, sorry all u brits and aussies that you don't have such an awesome holiday ;)

Since I'm celebrating the same occasion today in Canada, on the 4th I'll be waiting for results from NASA's Deep Impact.

i have $250 worth of fireworks bought from a licenced pyrotechnician, the problem is they aren't legal... a big ass cake and about 120 morters, i got singles, doubles, tripples and some quads... not to mention all the rockets :D

I should come watch your fireworks show LOL I'm too cheap to spend all that $$ on them, I think we'll go watch the fireworks that the city does, they usually spend a small fortune on them. :)

I'm gonna torch my French book. On the face of it it seems like a much more American activity than I really mean it as. =p

Probly gonna go to the free fireworks show in addison. they have an area with a lot of bars and restaurants and they basically shoot the fireworks over that area, so I'll probly go to one with a patio and get lit while the fireworks are getting lit. Some of the places are byob too so I won't have to pay bar prices

Take the case thing that camra film comes in, fill that up with the powder from some morter shells, put a wick in, seal it up. = big ass explosion. Blew out the whole side of a hill one time. good times

I'm gonna make a stick of dinamite about 3 feet long and 6 inches in diameter, weve rigged a remote detonation device with one of my old cell phones. and a backup 5 min fuse. were gonna make a crater aprox. 75 wide and 8 feet deep with it. been working on ir for all of last week. just some nice sewer piping with caps at each end. we got a nice spot about 1/2 mile away on a hill to watch it from.
