I thought he was an alien dog..that shouldn't disqualify him though.
ET was a rare alien hairless chimp, but whatever..

id say alf is the coolest but ER looks the coolest
"An arrogant, furry alien from the planet Melmac crashes into the Tanner family's garage. They agree that he can live with them if he stays hidden from the rest of planet Earth. They name him Alf an acronym for "Alien Life Form" and the Tanners have to constantly bail him out of trouble. "

I still have my talking Alf doll, lol. He's in surprisingly great condition, too. :p
Yeah, he's definitely an alien. He talked about his home planet Melmac on some episodes.
Alf is way kitchier, but ET has more of a classic appeal.
As for me, I vote for Mork. Mork & Mindy were technically in the 80's, as the show aired from 1978 to 1982. Nanunanu.

You forgot the creature from the movie "Alien". That one has to be #1 because it could eat all the other aliens.

E.T. no doubt about it......
and how could ALF be any other thing but an Alien....of course he's an Alien....Damn.
I think he also liked to eat cat's......it was one of his better qualities.

07-05-2005, 02:25 AM
haha how could you watch the show and not grasp that ALF was an alien?
It is central to the plot of each episode ppl.:) I watched it despite the intensely annoying 'mr.tanner'.
Anyway, MORK has my vote for sure. Ive been watching reruns lately. Still funny as hell, even funnier now as an adult with a weed habit.
There was a biography on the show a couple weeks ago too, and yeah he was a toker and a liner during that show.

07-05-2005, 02:29 AM
oh, and if we're nominating mork what about Johnathan Winters who played
Mork and Mindy's son ....um whats his name.....damn...tip of tongue.......argh....ahhh,...anyone? ( and no googles lol lets use 'memory')

AHA.... wasnt it Merth or something similar?
Remember, he hatched from an egg as an adult and aged in reverse.
Yea, Merth or Murth or something similar.
But I guess he was half human and doesnt really qualify as an alien now that I think of it.
