Yeah that was like William Shatner's big comeback to TV I guess after Star Trek reruns ended and he needed money.

Also Heather Locklear's big debut I think..

I could never watch that without thinking Spock was going to show up at some point...maybe as a lawyer or something.

Also:

-Buck Rogers!
-BattleStar Galactica! (the original)

Back when I was a kid just starting to smoke mary jane there was a show called Doby Gillis. It was in black and white. His friend was a beatnik. I always thought that he got high. wow, that's been a long time ago!

Dobie Gillis is so old school .... on black and white TV in the early 60's. Bob Denver (pre-Gilligan) as beatnik Maynard G. Krebs. Good Call !!

lithium crystals
Episode: TOS 002 - Where No Man Has Gone Before

Predecessor to dilithium as used in early starship warp drive reactors. Because the rare crystalline form was required, lithium so used had to be refined thourgh an energy-intensive "cracking" process.

Never used to watch it, but saw a special on Mork & Mindy.

You gotta remember the 'Kids In The Hall', I think that may have started in '88 or '89, but that show is awesome.
