Hello - new to Chicago

High there, I've been here a few months and haven't found the hookup yet. I went to the music fest and tried to meet some new people, but it was mostly just a bunch of kids that shunned me like I was a cop.

I've been to the head shops on Clarke St which are cool.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cool areas in Chicago to meet people that are down like me?

I've seen quite a lot of ppl on the streets smokin up. Unfortunately I scare them all away trying to be friendly. :( There are a lot of stoners in this city, and most of them are paranoid; more so than probably anywhere else I've been, and I've moved around quite a bit.
