My week old plant is not growing fast it has the round leafs and it has the leafs that it started with and they are about 1/2, first the plant started to just grow tall and the leafs did not grow big at all it got about 4 inch tall so i moved the light about 2" in away from the plant. It did not help alot because the leafs only got a little bigger. My grow room is eight inches width and 4 foot length with two 4 foot flores lights. They get watered about every 2 days and they get about 12 hours of light a day I am also going to feed them on sunday with super trive and I am using mirical grow soil. Is there any way to get her to grow faster also how eles could i get them to stop growing so tall. First timer please i could use the help sry no digital camra.

Timm33,
Your plant is only a week old(seeding stage) and is focused on developing roots before rapid veg growth above ground. Plus you ain't helping any with only 12 hours of light. Switch to 18 hrs. Beaware the 12/12 causes flowering hormones to be released. Your a little premature for the 12/12 cycle.

Depends on the strain, generally 6-10 weeks w/ some exceptions. If you dont know the strain, wait til half the white hairs(pistils) turn brown/orange. This is not the most acurate way, but unless you can obtain a 30x mircoscope to view the THC glands, its the only way. If you have the microscope, the majority of the glands should be cloudy, if the majority are amber, then you've passed peak potency.

I put them on the 18/6 like snow owl said and my plants about 2" away form the flores light for about two days to stop them for growing so tall. I woke up this morning and three of my plants where dead is it because the light burned them or I just did not give them enough water I water them about every three days.

same thing happened to me :( i have them on 24/7 light and 4 CLFs in desk lamps in each corner, when i added a 2' long FL about 2" above the week-old seedlings, 3/4 died! i think they got burnt, weird thing is one seedling didnt seem to suffer at all, it was bigger than the others and maybe survived the heat stress better. i turned the long FL off.... hoping #4 stays healthy.

Sounds like we have the same problem, 3/5 of my plants died about a week ago but two did good and this morning they were just dead so 5/5 are dead now. I have no idea what the problem is, i also have a small 6 inch fan plowing on the little guys the temp is running about 82 to 88 deg is not easy to stay at a good temp when it is 115 deg outside the light is about 18 inch away from the plants so there is no way that they could burn and I water every 3 days. Maybe it is the mirical grow soil. please help me that way I do not make the same mistake again.
