i know its high pressure sodium so dont worry about that
but i still need to know what its best for flowering, veg or what the spectrum specifcations on hps and if its good enough use all the time.

i also was wondering what height of a plant is it best to start flowering,
and if you have a plant in veg and the light period is 12/12 will it force flowering on the young plants and if the preflowers are visable and you change the photoperiod to 20/4 will this harm the plant or cause the buds to form at an early age or what?

changing the light on the plant will cause it to go in shock when it is in the bud state, there fore i would grow it using 12/12.

You can force, essentially, MJ to flower at anytime by going to 12/12...

Even plants just 2 weeks old will force flower.

However, if you choose to then take the forced sexed flowering plant BACK to veg state, it is said you can turn a plant hermi...although I have never seen or done this.

So, if you have smaller plants under 12/12 now along with your big ones, both are in flower state.....

if its only been in 12/12 for a week and i Go say idunno 20/4 will this definetly make it hermathrodite if so does this mean it buds with seeds in it??

and and if it just slows down and goes back to veg what will happen to the preflower will continue to grow or will they stop growing untill light goes back to 12/12?

I do not believe if you go back to 20/4 that it means DEFINATE HERMI.


If you go back to veg, I "ASSUME" the flower will die. Like all other flowers, then, you must pick it off and allow for growth again.

cant i just leave it and if it dies wouldnt it just fall off or shrivel up?

It will not die off, just change the lights schedule. It may take a few extra weeks to reveg again but that's no big deal. The flowers do not need to be picked off, there is no need to stress the plant like that. Heat makes more hermie's then anything else will.

I got a question, if your in the veg stage how would you set up your light schedule? 20/4 until it is within a liking size to start flowering or would it force the flowering on the plant..I also have 3 other plants in my laundry room atm, I dont know what strain it is but if Zandor or someone who's good at telling what kind of bud it will be by looking at it please contact me back via email/msn : [email protected]
On the branches of the plant it has kind of red/dark purple tinges too it.

Joel there are so many hybrid crosses it's almost impossible to know the genetics. You can tell if it's sativa or indicia by looking at the leaves. You can guess to what percentage the combination is that way too. That's about all; even smoking is hard to tell some strains from others. I do have a special bong that tells me about the percentage of THC is in your trichomes.

You plant will not change into flower cycle with out several days of 13/11 minimum of light. Normal is 12/12 but you can start them off with as little as 10/14 and as much as the 13/11 light. A good timer is all you need to control the light cycle. You can use 24/0 or 18/6 for the vegetation light cycle.
