Anybody actually read the stories instead of just seeing the movies? The stories are about a zillion times weirder, and even though they were designed as children's books from over a hundred years ago, they're really entertaining. And fucking funny too, like when Alice makes the mouse tell her a story, and the mouse makes everything in the story about treacle.

Yeah there's some part where, without explanation, Alice is multiplying stuff together that doesn't seem to make sense (I think 4x5=12 or something), except it does make sense when you translate it to base 18 instead of base 10. Also, she says "Oh I'll never get to twenty at this rate" and it was explained to me so I've forgotten some of it, but apparently if you continue with that progression (I don't know base 18) the equation begins to lapse and you can never reach 20. Or something.

So yeah, the dude was smart n shit.
