growing my own shrooms

Im growing my own flying saucer shrooms, I have them diwn about two weeks now and im wondering if anyone knows how long they take before you can harvest them? Any help or advice would be greatly appriciated :) :) :D :confused: :confused: :confused:

I only know you're supposed to pick em when the cap separates from the stem, I'm home growing too (Hawaiians) and it's been close to a week for me, I'd say. You doing the pre-made growkit or the PF Tek way? And what's yours looking like right now? Mine's just got the white fuzz growing everywhere.

mine are called azurens but thet dont have any white fuzz that i can see, i covered the woodchips with leaves tho to help retain a moist bed, I got a spawn bag from www.shayanashop.com

Yeah, im going to start growing mushrooms, I just need to find a spore.

i dont get what your doing here?

did you inoculate straigt into your spawn bag and is it one of those bags where your going to let them grow inside the bag ?

or are you gonna case the spawn bag when ready
and by ready your bag needs to fully colinize by leaving it in a dark warm place

shroomery.com has spore sponcers and all the growing info you need
there used to be a free spore ring out there but i cant remember the name sorry
but i would buy a spore syringe if your new it will be eaisier

I havn't tried the spawn bag, but did several varieties or spore shots. Mycelium was all I got, still had pscylocin, but not alot. Takes easily 4-5 weeks before the shrooms start poppin'. Again, check with shroomery.org. And patients is a virtue!

Sometimes its just takes a bit longer. The Mycelium may had a shock while transporting or from in and out of the fridge. Best is to not put it in the fridge when you get it but start it up right away.

Give it some time and it will work. I had a guy once who had no shrooms after 3 weeks. He was given a new kit and when the replacement arrived the old kit started to flush so he was lucky. Keeps difficult to predict these kind of things.

no it's dangerous to 'just eat shrooms' someone has to know what they're doing for the act to be safe in the first place...
