im kinda new here and been looking at some of the threads in feedback secton especially and everytime beeblebrox posts in a thread he closes it. WTF? id be pissed if someone just deleted the forum i started, so wats his deal, is he just old and stale?
and my 2nd thing is i wanna know, how do u become a moderator?

well the reason he is deleteing most threads is becous they are in the rong section like someone will ask about their plants in the lounge and those questions should be in the grow section im not complety sure how you become a mod.........he might deleate this thread becous it should be in the fedback sugestions part

The thread in question was completely in the wrong forum, that's what "my deal" is. I certainly do NOT close every thread I post in. That's just silly.
Mods get chosen by us when we feel we need more. Ron has the final say on who makes the cut, but he usually listens to our recommendations.

Do you have to be a Cafe Member to be respected enough to be a mod? (i don't want to be one, and i'm not asking to be one, just wondering) thanks:D

No, but there is a centen amount of respect involved I guess. Mods are invited and in truth it's a thank less job.
No good dead goes un-punished.

A mods job is to try to keep the forum running. Not in the sense of programming but to keep topics on track, try to keep the flamers in check and people follow the rules. In any forum community there are people who will always be trouble. They are a troubled person in life and the same thing applies to their online life too. You try to make sure the threads are in the correct area so the person gets the correct answer to their question with the least amount of crap.
No mods are not paid...in fact it's a thank-less job, no money and you put up with everyoneâ??s crap. You will not make everyone happy that's for sure so you try to balance your actions.
We deal with people ranging in age from 12-13 to 50+ and they each have an idea of right from wrong and have no problem telling their point of view. Sometime it's disrespectful and then we need to play mod to keep the peace.
Being a mod is a labor of love and that's all it is. We are just normal people trying to make a difference and keep the peace. You don't see me much outside of the grow forums or the chat room. Beeblebrox.420 works the whole site like we all should. I just spend too much time in the grow area it leaves me little time to surf elsewhere. Thanks Bee for picking up the slack and keeping the place running.
Did that answer your concern?

might as well post it here as i'm sure some will be asking about it and it seems fitting here and won't have to make a separate thread drawing even MORE attention to things...
i just removed a thread posting mailing techniques from a regular seller here. now c'mon guys...it doesn't take a braniac to figure out such posts will only ruin future mailings and other providers that use the same or similar method.
a simple, "the stealth was excellent" will do, people!!! keep the rest private! it's common sense and i can't believe a lesson in this is needed, but apparently it is for a few here...
providers, you need to educate your clients or you'll be forced back to pot price...
iow, ya gotta chill with this open sales and take it back underground.

How do you guys know you're not inviting a cop as a Mod?
Do all Mods see our IP addresses?
How many Mods are there?
If one of you Mods gets busted what keeps the police from seizeing their computer and getting access to all ip addresses. That's a big list
not paranoid, just curious

if the police saw the posts theres nothing they can do about it, they havent ACTUALLY caught us smoking weed or selling it, for all they know it could be a load of bullshit.
so, are you mods just regular people? do you have a contract or anything? who keeps YOU in line, etc???

don't you think there should be a lower age limit or we may be seen as not being very responsible God forbid........but I think if the mods suspect that someone may be very young they should ask them to leave the boards don't you think

hell no, duppy man. This place is a great way for kids to learn about something that all the authority figures in their lives just lie about.

As I understand it Ron has said there is no age limit of any type for access to this forum.

It would be a lot better if members were 18 and over.
Another sister site for <18?

Dude I agree 100% it's just not for me to say:( . If everyone posts in the suggestion area RON may respond quicker.

I'm not sure that 18 is a "magic age". Adults and teens can learn from each other, as long as the discussion stays honest. I do get uncomfortable discussing adult topics with 14 and 15 year olds that aren't mature enough to understand the consequences.
I can understand that some would prefer a age limit but to be honest I think it's a really bad idea.
What age do most start experimenting ?? Early right
- so instead of shutting them out and leaving them to fuck around with aerosols, gas etc.
they're here to participate, get information (hopefully unbiased) and make a more informed choice.
Just my opinion :o
I'd prefer my kid to log in here and talk to some of you lot for advice then go blindly messing around
with stuff s/he hasn't a clue about.
There's good people on this site, give yourselves some credit :) BUT at the end of the day it's no ones
job to parent anyones child, so chill and have fun.

Oh come on.. even in real life you can't tell always tell how old someone is. A guy i've known for about a year only recently realised I was only 18; he's always thought I was at least 21. How can you tell, %100 accurately, that somebody is under 18 or 21 when you can't even see them?

12 does seem a little young, im sure Ron would not like his 12 year olds hanging with adults talking about drugs I educated my children on the use and missuse of drugs you can pickup as much bad advice here as anywhere else But its Ron's baby therefore up to him to make the rules he don't come round to my gaff and tell me how to run things although im always open to new suggestions and ideas thats how I grow spiritually.

I really wish we could. Unfortunately, it seems that feature is disabled for mods. I'll ask Ron about it - maybe he can turn it on. There's a lot of moderator features that are disabled that I wish we had, but Ron's got his own reasons for these things.
 The MODS here do what we have to do, maybe if we weren't backed into corners then ppl wouldn't get banned. Today for example I was in chat and there was a member who left me no other option but to ban them for a few days  . Its not like it was fun for me but I did what I had to.

not always
there is just no way to ID a person without having info stored up that YOU really dont want others to have
so this place will always have a mix of ages
just put those ya think are kids,on ignore,ya wont even know there here
