Problem with plants

Hi,
Just started with hydro...took healthy plants from soil changed them to hdro. And went from 2 40 watt floros to 1000 watt hps...right after taking them from soil to hydro drain and flood they look awfull....plants are 3 ft from light i have glass protect sheild in front of light....some of the leaves look wilted and crumble to the touch about three leaves on each plant that is in thje hydro setup are wilting.... Any sugg.. would be greatly app.... Peace....??????

Also, I cut the crummbling parts of the leaves off and left the healthier parts couple of them cut in half????

I have my pump flooding my 3 in pvc upto my 3
inch net potts w/hydroton and plants every 15 min on ...15 off untill 10 pm then 15 on 45 off ....Is this too much? if so- How much what should my watering times be ...It only takes about 2 min if that to fill my pots with the nute soultion...???Please help???...thank God I still have some plants in soil...LOL....love the smell in the room

At what point did you go from plants in dirt to the same plant in grow rocks? I'm lost did you have a plant grow in dirt then decided to switch to hydro so you washed the dirt off the roots and then transplanted it to grow rocks?

What is the temperature at the top of the canopy while the lights are on and what's the temperature with the lights off? Wondering about the swing.

Yes washed off dirt from roots after about 4 weeks growing ubder floros... yes switched to hydro....Temp Is around 80 under lights with air conditioning running and fan blowing over canapy ...Lights off goes down to 70 ...nice and cool

That's ok I did not think you could either.

Check the roots and see what color they are?
