Oh my god. Well this is how it went. I went to the doctors the other day for an ongoing medical problem with my arm. I hurt it in the Navy. Well, the doctors have me on Vicodin, Xanax, Paxil, and Moriphine. Also Methadone for breakthrough pain. These are all very strong narcotics in case no one knows. well if u are prescribed these drugs I guess u are accepted in society. I call us socially accepable junkies! weed helps with almost all my symptoms accept the really bad pain. Well I got piss tested and they(the doctors) found marijuana in my system and immediatly jumped in my shit telling me Im a drug addict because I use an "illicite" drug..Can u believe that shit???? they prescribe me enough pills to keep me high as a kite all day long, but i smoke one joit and im LABELED A DAMN DRUG ADDICT. Man I had to vent this out, what do u all think? I think that people(the government) should take a good long look at whats going on in this world i mean, when the hell is marijuana gonna be accepted? any opinion? hit me back

yea i'm getting my wisdom teeth out soon and i'd muuuch rather smoke to ease the pain for a few days than have to be fucked up on vicodin or percocet or morphine. i've taken vicodin and percocet before and i liked it, but i'd rather smoke and not be all itchy and naseous

Im on the methadone program have been for the past 25 months.
I get urine tested every time i have an interveiw with my case manager wich is once a month.
I Have tested positive for marijane every single time and they couldnt care less
as long as im clean from opiates and motabolites there happy..
Here Hooter is more socially accepted than tobacco...

Im not very familair with any of your naractics but paxil I used to take paxil for anxeity before i started smokign weed again. It wasent right for me. I'de get really hyper and really i would run around school yelling "PURPLE!!!!!" and telling people i wanted to be black because white people r fuckin backstabers...lol yeah paxil...

Yeah, I know what yall mean. And I brought up that marijuana is not addicive(exept mentally) and everything they have me on is physically addictive and I will go throught the DT's when Im better since Ive been on these drugs for 2yrs. They told me that they will not tolerate me "useing illicit drugs from the street", and if I get caught again, they will boot me from the V.A.(veterans hospital, for those who dont know).This really, really fired me up! I was addicted to heroin for a very long time when I was younger, and Im very educated on these subjects. It was probably the single worst thing that I will ever go through just to get off the heroin, then they turn around and stick me on three fuckin opiates!!! Wtf, i mean i am gonna have to do it all over again, and all I really need is to smoke a little and take some damn asprin....you know?

Im not complaining about the pills....(the were an added bonus!!) I just didnt really want to be addicted all over again and I hate being classified as a dope addict because of weed. especially when the doctors are giving me stronger dope! Oh yeah, Makor1, pxil is not a narcotic, but xanax is...antidepressant is just the classification of the drug. xanax is a benzodiazipine...which are narcotic, and very habit forming. I think weed should be legalized, for the simple facts: Its not physically addictive, it has medicinal value, it could bring revinue for the gov; if taxed, u can smoke it, eat it(higher protien than soy even!), make clothing and rope and paper out of it, its so universal that it is really amazing. I cant believe how ignorant our government is sometimes!

Perscription drugs are far worse for your body than weed but the big drugs companies arent going to tell society that (and neither is the government). Drug companies also fund governments loads of money, hmmm... The whole ignorant attitude towards weed really pisses me off but as long as the majority of society gets led around by the nose (by the government) we will never see weed as a legal substance and there will always be this pointless prejudice.

this is pathetic i used many of those drugs you mentioned for yrs and out of all of them seed is the only one i have never had a problem with you might want to remind your quack or i mean doctor that no one has ever died from a cannibis over dose then ask him if he can say the same about opiates or benzo's i would start looking for a new doctor but check to see if his feet are webbed first

dr's out west here seem more open to alternative therapies...plus living and working in a legalized state probably has educated more of em just by having patients who are discusing it with them along with almost monthly news articles about the program and how well it has worked here. i too am on a regular supply of pain pills (percs and morph) but got off of everything else (soma and other muscle relaxers, valium and various sleeping pills) which my pain management doc has noted and is now writing a report for the state medical journal discussing the success most of his patients have had using cannabis as a substitute relief for the 'normal' pharmaceuticals for spasms, pain control and sleep disorders...

so i dunno...it looks like we're getting ahead in some respects but then the feds have to fuck things up, as usual...one step forward, 2 steps back. it's changing but painfully slow...
