Was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a nice unit to lower the heat in my growroom that doesn't cost too much. HARDDON's light is like a fucking sun. Hehe thanks again.

I got mine at The Home Depot.
It cost $78.00
Arent you growin indoors?
Remember the A/C units creat heat as well. Gotta have that vented out.
If you're indoors and you getting heat problems now....you need to vent more heat out. What kinda heat extraction are you running?
Now that its hot outside, in the garage and in the grow room, the temps are over 90 F.
In fact right now, 11:32 its 91.2 F
But I have major fan action and major heat extraction going on, and it feels good to me. :)

See the thing is in my bedroom closet so I don't really know where I would extract the heat. My parents are ok with me growing this shit but I'm pretty sure they're gonna snap if they see 6" vents running out my window (plus this would fuck up my darkness periods from not being able to leave the door closed. Of course I give them fresh air cuz I have multiple fans running in my room to bring air from outside to the closet, but I dont have anything to take away all the heat. I was thinking that if I had like a mini A/C unit it would stop the heat at its source. What kind is the one you bought? Thanks again for the help.

You gottta remember the A/C unit will generate as much heat as it generates cool air.
So yes, you COULD install a small A/C unit to blow cold air in there, but what about the heat that it produces?
That freon needs to cool and a fan blows the heat off the fins into your room.
Your closet will be cool, but your room will not.
Plus, I doubt your parents will appreciate the condensation dripping all over their carpet.
You could always disconnect the vents for the dark periods...
Tuff pickle situation you in there Da1.
What are the canopy temps running now with the HPS?

Actually more. If you let the AC run indoors without venting the exhaust to the outside, the inside temperature will gradually rise. Air conditioners don't really cool the air directly, they only move heat from one place to another.

Place a window mounted a/c in bedroom where the heat blows out the back end outside. Leave the closet doors open and keep plants in veg for the next two months of Summer heat. Maintaining dark cycle only pertinent during flowering. And you have more bud for your patience.

Ehh. Having a big ass window A/C unit wouldn't be cheap and having to leave my door open is not a good idea either. I'm talking more like what I'm gonna get for when I build a growbox. This is the only stuff I have no clue about.
How much inline fans cost or how loud they are.
What I should use to cool the box.
All help is always appreciated guys. Thanks.

The smallest AC is about the size of New Computer.
Pretty small and light weight.
But, they still create heat and need to be vented out.
If you have a grow box, the situation remains the same.
The incoming air will :
a) need to be cooled by an AC unit, or
b) need to be cool as it enters the grow box.
If you have option b, as in say inside air conditioned temps, you just need a good strong inline fan to suck the hot air out. But then again, you need to vent it somewhere, otherwise, you will heat the outside air and start sucking in the warm air again.
A vicious cycle yes?
I have a 6' X 10' trailer at the office that I am gonna park in my garage for my next grow. THis no room shit sucks bad.
