Anyone know any good video editing software programs for cheap... like under $100.00's?
Also, what's a good 300.00 video camera
I know this isn't a video camera board or anything, but i need help
anyone know a good forum to talk about video editing etc.
I know nothing about video editing but I would suggest you check out opensource applications if you don't got any money because they will be free! Look here and see if they have anything that interests you http://osswin.sourceforge.net/

if you don't care about the legailty of the program... which i'm sure you don't considering your presence on this board... but you could download a hacked version of adobe premiere, if you have a broadband connection. otherwise, i can't help you lol. premiere retails at pretty expensive though, but its hella nice.
CinePaint looks pretty powerfull http://cinepaint.sourceforge.net/ and best of all its free! oh looks like no windows version yet until the release of glasgow. Btw I don't have any experience with video editing but I'm just trying to help.

a hacked version
like you find on Limewire

i don't like doing that
but maybe i'll just use the window media film maker or whatever, and then upload...
and how do you download that other link you gave me, the CINEPAINT?

what does seeding mean?
and is downloading it illegal? Like if i'm using it for personal use?

ok, thats the link to adobe AFTER EFFECTS.
thats just pretty much the badass FX like fades, wipes, and shit you can throw in AFTER you edit the video. seeding means that after you finish downloading, you upload it to the other people who are trying to get it.
its not illegal to download it. what is probably illegal is installing it using the activation key that they provide. you also need a bittorrent client to download the file.
ABC is a nice one: http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/
but pretty much you'll be safe to use this site. i've used it for awhile and gotten oodles of music, movies, programs, and just about whatever i use on the computer from it. you don't download from a server, you actually download it from everyone else who has it and is on the site pretty much. thats the best way i can describe it.
like, one person uploads the file to another person, and then the next person has 2 people to download from, and then the next person has 3 sources, and the next has 4... etc.....
hopefully that makes sense

once i download it, i need a cd key and stuff... where do i get these.
i really don't want to do anything illegal...
lol
and i'm not quite clear
but i need to sleep, i have a big day ahead of me tommorow
peace
i'll get back to you when i come back to london

alright man. and usually the file has a cd key included with it. or a key generator. so its not like you have to bust up a best buy and steal a cd key from a box. just look at crackspider.net they have just about any cd key you need

Pinnacle Studio 9 mah man. Depends on what type of camera you're looking for. Pinnacle is easy to use, home-editing studio software. Under 100 bucks.

i use avid xpress pro on my PC...i like pc editing better, and avid's really cool. i prefer it to final cut.
it's a really expensive program though.
i'm learning after effects now...it does a lot more than fades and wipes like someone else said, a whole lot more...

LOL! After Effect's does a hell of a lot more than fades and wipes.
I've got experience on this subject, and seeing how you are on a PC you've got a couple decent options. If you are serious about this consider getting a Mac and Final Cut Pro. Best editing combo IMO.
Like someone said before Adobe Premier is a popular choice. The learning curve is fairly steep and user interface takes some (a lot of) getting used to IMO. But once you've got the hang of it, Premier is an extremely powerful editor.
Also check out Sony's Vegas. If either of those options seem a bit complicated for your tasted I'd recommend starting with Pinnacle Studio. It'll do everything you need a editor to for now, but you'll probably want to upgrade once you feel you need power.
yeah like everyones probaly said, sony vegas or adobe premiere, theyre very expensive things to buy so unless you're a legit company then it's really not worth buying, trust me noone else does..
videomach i find is quite a good editor aswell
