Lighting question!

Hey ok. First time here and have a Mercury Vapor or Hallogen lamp with 175W on 3 Clones...Was wondering if this was alright? Or should i put the second one on or change to a different Bulb? I'm guessing there the same as MH lights but not shure? any ideas?

also its a mix between AK-47 and Sheva?(i dunno how to spell the second) grows supposidly to a bit over waist hight...what u think yield would be? Thanks!

Chinky do you think a 1000watt HPS wil be enough for 3 clones or maybee he should get one for each clone.

Thanks peeps. Loved that Link Kanman. Made me think some more. Do you think a 400W Metal Halide Lamp would work? Or is the HPS Lighting Cheaper? And as for it i was thinkin of using a Large cabinet style thing that i could completly Do out with Reflective foil what ya think?

dont use foil cuz it reflects too much heat and burns plants, try to use mylar instead more expensive but ur plants wont be burnt to fuck

MH is cheaper to buy but gives less lumen then a HPS for the same watts.
I know local growers who use nothing but HPS to grow with and they get impressive results.
