hey made a nice potatoes gun that fires spuds up to 500 yards and probley knock some 1 out going to make them and sell em on ebay when ready and made right what ya think

cool it's simular to the old polish cannons we made as kids we would take old beer and soda cans' [ they were steel then not alum.] and cut the tops and bottoms out tape them end to end and we would use lighter fluid to prime it stuff a tomato or tennis ball in there and light it

At a party i was at last night, some guys from another party we were chilling with (they had weed, and no one at our party did, and they were a great bunch) had a plastic tube thing, and were shooting fireworks out of it (like a rocket launcher) and the fireworks were going just about people's houses, then we lit a HUGE fire.. and the firemen came, so we chilled with them.
Also, the police came over, asking us to turn music down.. but found out the owner of the house we were at knew them, so they came in and chilled. was fuckin' great!

a buddy of mine hooked up a hospital tank of compressed gas to his potato gun, which used a sparker from a grill as the igniter. Basically, he filled this big ass PVC chamber up with gas, sparked the little thing and out went a potato at about mach 4.

We then proceeded to make a sawed-off version, which almost killed the neighbor's cat.

Ive always wondered this but like whats the difference between sawed-off and not? Like on shotguns too and what not. Whats the diff?

When they're sawn off the shot goes out with a lot more force, cause it doesn't have to travel all the way down the barrel. It also has less accuracy, which is why sawn off shotguns tend to spray everything in the, let's say, hardware store that's been robbed.

sawed off shotguns shoot the shot with less force instead of more, because the shorter barrel doesn't allow the gases from the powder in the shell exploding to expand to it's full potential and accelerate the shot as much as normal. The advantage is in concealment. A shotgun is pretty much a short/intermediate range weapon anyway, so the increased spread of the shot pattern is only an advantage if you can't aim worth shit. Also, since the pattern is more spread out, you don't get the effect of lots of pellets hitting near each other, which is what gives a shotgun it's close range man stopping power.

You neeed to buy the reductor to make it go down to the smaller barrel size like mine that I made. (sorry no picture of it but I'll try) Make it look professional. I have found out two or three quick sprays of some AquaNet hairspray works great for the fuel.
