hey, so u guys mite of seen my thread about my plant i wam growin an u may have heard about me livin in africa for a year, while i was there i visited a small island called ganja island hers a few pics, weed there is £25 for a kilo an most farmers get about 150 kilos from there feilds every harvest, any1 have q's feel free too ask, i got a lot more pics too

the last time i was there was january, im the blonde dude with the less than jake t shirt n black beanie. the rest of the guys r my mates who visited from home. i went to live out there september with my parents. my friends came over january and i came back to england for 3 weeks in march this year, the first 3 days home i have bad news. . . my mom passed away, i was shocked but thats life, so me n my dad decided to move back here, i have more pictures to post of giant spliffs and like 200kilos of weed dryin, there comin back with all our stuff, so as soon as i get e, ill post em. i have hundreds of kick ass stories to tell so keep posted lol, thanks for the interest.

yeah, they call the gambia the smiling coast of africa. it really is so friendly, everyone is happy an smillin and always sayin hello, its great plus its so hot aswell. btw i didnt make a mistake or nothin it really is £25 a kilo, if anyone is serious about wanting to go i can put u in touch with nice accomodation. we have been visiting for 10 years an stay at a villa, its reasonably priced an the security guard abraham is a full blown rasta, he took us to ganja island the first 3 times. so let us know. . .

Look at the soil they are growing in. It looks like it's 90% sand. Crazy. hahaha fuck you should have got some seeds from them!!!!! That would be a great thing to spread around the world. I would have traded with you in the fall if you had some. I'm growing a strain from nepal......it's growing right now aswe speak.

i read somewere on here that plants need 12 hours darkness, special wen flowering or somethin, an it said like full flown darkness, i was wanderin why that is, on ganja island they dont put em in a cupboard just left to grow

hey mercifulstonerasta, most weed plants flower according to the hours of daylight they get. during the fall the days get shorter forcing the plants to bloom. some will flower with as much as 14hrs of light a day.

yeh of course theres loadz 2 do in africa, theres tonns of wildlife, the gambia river which is a tourist attraction, everything out there is dirt cheap i'm guessin £1=55 gambia pounds so theres reli lots more 2 do than jus smoke ganja.

I heard about that place when I was there. Didn't venture out to Coconut Island tho. Heard the stories about the smiling country and what not. I bought over an ounce for next to nothing off one of the hotel security. He offered to take me to the Island but I was only there a week and had other things to attend to. I'm going next year for their celebration of independence, or that could be ghana - let me check my diary. Party Time, and Coconut Island will see me then if its the right place i'm thinking of, i'm a little spaced. I'm bringing them some seed I think. Probably around 100, some femenised and others unfemenised so they can recultivate.

It is true they need 12 hours a day but that Is for efficient indoor growing , outdoors the plants like the ones show are more then likely landraces strains which will flower in there native environment based on the natural seasons there , outdoors temp, humidity , and a multitude of other factors influence the plants flowering ,also I have found when flowering a strain that is marked indoor and outdoor when you grow outside the plant can have a much longer flowering time then when indoors with controlled lighting.
