hey has anyone ever tried cloneing with only water? does this work? I only ask because I had an "incident" with a branch and i have a pretty good female and wanted to clone the branch. I do not have access to cloning agents or anything like that, can i just stick the branch in water or will it not root that way??? any help would do.

Aeroponics is the only way I clone.....if you are talking about just dropping a cutting in a glass of water then your chances of success are almost nil. It may work the principle is the same but the roots will not get oxygen.
It's better then throwing it in the trash but you only have a very small chance of success.

I have cloned in a beer bottle full of water on a windowsill a few times.
you could drop in an airstone for better chances

what if you put it in a little fishank and put the bubble thing on, wouldnt that give the roots oxygen?
