Belize laws - HELP!

I am traveling soon to Belize and was wondering what the current possession laws are there and how easy I might score some stuff on Ambregris Caye. Are the penalties nasty, or just a fine? Is it worth the trouble?

Go to www.erowid.com look under the law section in cannabis and they should have pretty much all the countries listed with their laws.
