Me, and my other two friends were gonna smoke today, but my one friend who was getting it from his dealer, calls my house out of no where, and asks me what kind of bud, and how much, i say chronic, and a fat gram, anyway i here someone get up form the couch in the other room and start walking very quickly, i look at the phone and it says conference...(meaning someone was listening from the other phone) I was about to cry when I saw it, my mom busts open my door, screams at the top of her lungs and goes YOU LITTLE BASTARD! YOU UNTRUSTWORTHY FUCK! then slaps me across the face and goes into this deep long conversation about how she caught me last time, and that i said i wouldnt do it, and asking me who I'm doing it with, and where im getting it from and all these other questions, of course i didnt give her any names, later she apoligized for slapping me, and telling me that "Dope" fries braincells, When I clearly know it doesn't. When I told her I smoked cigs, she wasn't even that mad, although cigs cause more damage to your body, then weed would ever. I just don't understand, and I need some help fast. REAL fast.

Well, that's terrible man. The only thing I said to my mom when she caught me was "I'm going to do it whether you allow me or not, and you know it." She did, and agreed to let me do it with certain restrictions. You could try that, but..... your mom doesn't sounds quite as lenient as mine :-p Still worth a try maybe!

not much you can do dude from the sound of your mothers reaction she has been severly brainwashed by the media and govt about the effects of cannibis i would do what you can to gain her trust back and get your shit together so you can move out on your own this is something that she obviously feels very strong about and prob wont change her mind but it is also not worth losing your family over so get your own place and just try to put it all behind you ..you can always find another dealer but you only have one set of parents and remember they act this way because they love and worry about you and in there propaganda addled brains they believe it is whats best for you. good luck

as far as school goes my grades sucked ass way before i started smoking i had like a D- average i still have it cuz i dont do my homework but weed helps me when im in the classroom. it makes school a hell of a lot funner and funnier. my mom dont kno i smoke but i kno she does so if she busts me ill just be like wut the fuck bitch u do it too then mayb she'll let me smoke in the house but untill she busts me she isnt gonna kno even tho i come home with the redest of red eyes and smell like smoke and laugh my ass off when they ask me where i was.then i eat like a bitch. they have to kno i do it. but they wont fuckin catch me

I'm gonna try to convince my stepdad... hes the more understanding of the two... and the reason why she freaked out is b/c my biological dad, was an addict, and she was like he started on dope, went to coke, then heroine, and some crack and then died, and i never got to meet him, and that im gonna go onto harder drugs, she also thinks marijuana is addiciting... when i clearly told her it wasn't... please give me a site with all the facts besides erowid

like most people i started with tobaco and alcohol and then to weed and lsd and shrooms in the 70's people didnt look at the more dangerous drugs like meth / coke /heroin in the way they do now so it wasnt long before i was involved in using these drugs as well.. im the one who choose to do this and accept full responsabilty for this decission.. that choice caused many yrs of misery for my self and my family before i got help but i still believe that if i had been told the truth about cannibis rather than the old tired ass propaganda line that weed is as dangerous and addictive as heroin i may have steered clear of that whole mess on the bright side though i also know with out any doubt that with out cannibis and the help i recieved through a methadone maintnece program i would never have been able to quit using heroin and cocaine good luck bro and remember your mom isnt trying to be an asshole she's only trying to protect the one thing in her life that means more to her than than anything else. You're wrong. Marijuana IS addicting, physically and psychologically, just like almost every other drug out there.

marijuana is not physically addicting. its habit forming, which is another way of saying psychologically addicting, but thats just the same as.... say jolly ranchers. i eat one of those, and want another one. but if somebody took them away, i wouldn't get sick.
