Noty likely. The primary ingredient in (most) nail polish removers is acetone, which evaporates very rapidly and leaves no residue. However, unelss it was pure acetone, it probably has left behind some additives, like perfumes and conditioners, which might add a nasty flavor to your next smoke. If it was not the acetone type of remover, then I'd suggest you at least rinse it thoroughly in hot water before smoking out of it. Probably good idea, in any case, if nothing else to help the flavor.

never use nail polish remover! use some ruubing alcohol & salt works great.nail polish rem. has that nasty floral taste.we try to soak our glass 2 times a month(never happens though) try to keep like a jar just for it, if you do it regulary your pipe will be nice & fresh at all times.Good luck Cause I know mine gets cleaned like once a month if lucky!

I don't believe that is true. The pigments used to color the glass are inside the glass. Glass is nonporous, so there's no way (with the exception of tiny surface cracks and imperfections) for any chemicals to get in and affect the coloration. Even the surface glazes used in ceramics are virtually impervious to attack by chemicals. Glass containers are well-suited to the task of storing nearly any chemical, with the execption of a few strong acids, exactly because of this quality.

Oh, definitely do NOT clean plastic bongs with acetone. That is very, very bad for them.
