What is hashish (hash)? How is it different from marijuana? What kind of high does it give you? How expensive is it? I would just like some general answers about hash. I've never known the difference between hash and marijuana.

I think you make hash out of the top leaves and flowers of the plant. However you make it, though, it's generally pretty pricey compared to weed because it's extremely potent. Most people don't even bother smoking it, they just knife a little crumb and that's plenty.

Okay, thanks for the video. So it's basically just really potent THC?

Also, does it take a fraction of it to get you high? What are the average costs of it, and how much do people usually buy for personal use? How long does the high last, and is it different from marijuana?

Hash is a more concentrated derivative of the cannabis plant with a higher, sometimes significantly higher cannabinoid content and little plant matter. The strength varies with the part of the plant and method used to make hash.
Originally hash was considered to be the dried and pressed resin glands of the cannabis plant. More modern methods of hash making include soaking the buds or trim in ISO/ethyl alcohol, draining and evaporating the solvent off to result in a sticky blackish-brown substance that can be pressed into a slab. There is also honey oil, usually made by releasing butane through a marijuana-filled pipe and collecting the golden, highly concentrated actives that drip out the bottom.
A newer and increasingly popular form of hash is bubble hash, which is made by soaking the fresh trimmings of the plant in ice cold water and strainging it through a variable micron filter.

i've never tried really good hash, i haven't gotten the silk screen yet to actually try that method in the video...but it obviously works...

you're basically reducing an ounce to about an 8th of stronger stuff, yeah it only takes a tiny little bit of it, and i hear it's better to vaporise than smoke in a bowl because it will melt
