It's not really about spirituality but still:

I think seriously money is shit, u know u need some in life, but why sooo much? why always wanting cash? whats the big deal? do you all really think money is gonna bring u happiness? does our capitalist system really convinced us by brainwashing us that money brings happiness?

i always see fuckin rich ppl and all what they think is to have more. why are humans like this? why wanting more and more? why not having just enough to keep your dreams alive? to have a goal in life? to work hard and then be sooo happy by what u finally could afford u?

Am i the only one to think like that? im a musician and if i ever come to be rich (which i dont hope), well ill give a lot of my money. (talkin if i become millionaire, but real small possibility ^^)

of course ill give a lot to my family and all, but also to those in need, etc..

anyway thats my way of thinkin, i just think society now reached his goal: people want to do a job that pay, not a job that they're gonna like. how pityful world

Money gets me weed, and that makes me happier. The more weed i have, the happier i am. The more money, the more weed, the happier..

^dunno if that made sense.

But how amazing to become rich by accident hey.If i became a billionaire i would not change at all except in the way that i would love to help so many people.I would spend alot on other countries that dont have much food clothing or education.I would spend on researchers to preserve native flora and fauna.Spend a fortune on coast guards to stop illegal immigrants shipping in with no passport that take our jobs and work from hardworking genuine australians and give us a bad name with illegal activities.Your right most rich people suck they are rude as and usually are rich through no hard work of thier own especially if they are born into cash.

thats what i said lady, if i would have a lot, i would give for sure 75% if i were billionaire. actually i would keep 500 000$, thats it. but still, todays society thinks money brings happiness. and natural, if you wouldnt work for your green, would u enjoy it more? dont u enjoy it after a hard day of work to finally drink a corona and smoke a spliff? or alrdy having anough cash so just sit and smoke all day long.

wah anyway..

I understand everyones views and in someway they are my own. Its a nice eutopia, but what I value most is uncensored freedom and mobility of lifestyle. Unfortunately the only real way to secure that in this world is money. I don't want money to control other people, I want money to keep them from controlling me.

I used to think like that also, Mellow, but think about it for a minute. You say "why wanting more and more? why not having just enough to keep your dreams alive? to have a goal in life?", but perhaps some people's dreams are to be rich and succesful, to have money for to buy all the things they need and want (perhaps the things they long for just happen to cost more money?), and to leave to their children and grandchildren when they're gone so they too can have the things they want. I used to always think that 'money sucked', but in truth money is not a bad thing at all - it is purely the system and the people who run it who make it appear so. If we didn't have money then how would we exchange goods? I mean, sure you could sdhare everything and live happily ever after, but what would you do to make sure everybody on the planet got a fair share? You would have to ration everybody, and then humans being humans, people would start using these rations as a type of 'currency', using them to get extra items and to pay people for services. So straight away you'd have a currency again but it would be items that people would be exchanging, not money. But eventually people would realise that it is stupid to have to physically exchange the items, so they would come up with a unit of 'worth' (and something to represent it), which they would then give in exchange for food and such, and then the person who supplied the item would have more of the units, and would be able to buy more than before. People would be paid with these units and then too would be able to provide for his family using these units in exchange for goods. But people would undoubtedly complain that the amount they are being paid for the work they do is unfair, and so would demand more. The employer, losing profits, would then demand more for his services, whether he supplies food or whatever. Thus inflation would begin. I'm not going to carry on because i'm way too stoned but I hope you get my point (becaused I don't).

I'm a communist at heart, just from the simple fact of the great meaning of the word community, however men in the past have made things the way they are and to try to avoid the fact that money is needed for survival is unrealistic, so being a working class man my life will most likely be dedicated to making money or surviving. To take it a step further i feel like america is set up like a matrix more so like the dictionary definition of the word meaning a situation in which something originates, develops, OR IS CONTAINED, the description in the movie that describes us as batteries is also somewhat accurate in my view as well. Most americans are trapped in the paycheck to paycheck life, and the ones who are "lucky enough" to escape it are normaly still caught in a cycle of consumerism, living life through material obsession with things such as a bigger house, nicer car, or whatever the trend/advertisments are telling them is the next thing they need. whats worse is how badly we've been programmed to accept this, many believing in the american dream of financial sucess, which is a dream distracting us from the fact that the world's power money is being used to control us in a smoke and mirror form of imperialism, while motherfuckers get mad at george bush as if his dumbass has anything to do with it.americans are so lost in the brainwash that we fail to view the situation as a worldwide class struggle of rich and poor, and many of us actualy claim to love our country more than others as if the people here are really any different than those starving around the world. i mean as i'm sure many of you are aware the shit gets so much deeper than i can try to articulate in an internet forum. damn i havent smoked any trees in like 7 or 8 months. i miss me some cannabis. imma def try to be a lifetime grower. the idea of owning a house in which i can grow my own high grade cannabis is my personal material obsession, otherwise you'll see me driving an economy gass efficient car, buying stylish shoes at payless. one, and keeping it fly like that. one.
