Yeah, pot always brings me down from that great natural high. Seriously though, who are they targeting with this crap? Are they trying to convince people who smoke pot that they shouldn't? Because they didn't really provide any compelling arguments to quit (or any logical argument really, they just said you can be cool even if you don't smoke pot, but I can obviously still be cool if I do). Or are they trying to preach to the converted, to get people who already hate pot to feel good about themselves by subtly demonizing people who made a different choice?

that's what i thought, and the rest of that site leads me to the same conclusion. they used to have a section on there saying that smoking weed makes you ugly, ffs! it should be illegal to spread those kind of lies!

Well, according to our great US government; smoker are terrorists, and growers are ring leaders. A grower got busted up here a year or two ago and was also a gun enthusiast. just target and hunting. and they tried to put him up for terrorism.
luckily I was on THAT jurry, I get jurry so fucking much cuz I love to acquit smokers. yea, so he was let go. Im surprised it wasn't put to a federal court

You know how it's illegal to use false advertising if it ends up bringing detriment to somebody who acts on their false advertisements in some way? ie, pharms being mis-distributed or something. Well what about all these blatant pot lies? What if lying to someone in order to turn them off ends up building them a stigma that keeps them from benefitting from medical uses? Like some kid has, oh i dunno, spinal meningitis, and the pain can be relieved by cannabis, but his parents refuse to let him smoke it. He has such ferocious pain without weed that he has a heart attack and dies. Is the family eligible to sue?

Very hypothetical, but cmon, what if? Also, you know how you get spam emails telling you to sign up for "tight teen whores"? Well how can they be "tight" if they're also "whores," seeing as whores are loose by connotation? Eh? False advertising is everywhere these days, at the corner of gee and whiz.
