What really Happened at the Pentagon?

I have done my studies of the Pentagon strike on 9/11. This much I am for certain on, no Boeing 747 hit that building. I invite any of you to do a Google on this event. First off, many people say the plane skidded on the grass. Pictures and videos taken on that tragic day clearly show the lawn intact. Where are parts of the plane. Clearly, if a plane did hit the building, it would leave debris, there were none. Pictures taken in and out of the blast area prove this. The hole that crash made, is NO WAY CONSISTENT of a 747 jet. I think the hole was a little over 20ft. Hmmm? Hmm? Hmmm? Am I missing something. Wouldn't an 80 Ton 747 Jet, with a Wing span clearly over 50ft or maybe a 100ft would LEAVE a hole larger than 20ft. Also, the FBI and CIA were in multiply spots, confiscating secuirty cameras from gas stations, hotel rooftops, and expressways. These tapes if made to the public would show what really happened. There is one security camera, it's from the Pentagon lawn. There are 5 frames of the video showing the hit. When you slow down the video, you see a picture of something. This something is WAY smaller than a 747. The pilot who supposedly flew this plane into the building, was called a horrible pilot by his instructors. Also, this guy somehow managed to pull of a Really acute turns at speeds of 550 miles per hour. Several Eyewitness accounts are shady. Some people say they saw a 747, others a small private plane, others say they even say a missle. I invite anyone to do a quick search on this. Whatever hit the pentagon was NOT a 747. WHat is the Government hiding

we're supposed to believe a massive steel engine and breaks and more just vaporized, but they were able to ID over 130 of the victims on the plane...the wings left no damage on the building, and the pictures before the section of the wall collapsed does not look like it was by a plane, it's a rather small impact hole...and the mysterious punch out of the building 3 rings in... what the hell caused that.

i don't know what hit the building...it appears to have either been a smaller plane packed with explosives...or maybe a missile, like rumsfeld 'slipped' up a couple times and said...who knows...it doesn't seem like it was a 747 though, does it...

You're not going to see wing impressions, like you did with the Twin Towers (which were open-framed steel structures clad with glass, very different from the much more solid steel-reinforced concrete walls of the Pentagon). In the Pentagon impact, the wings essentially sheared off and were shredded with the rest of the plane, merely contributing to the widening of the hole.

The main problem with this, and nearly every ridiculous conspiracy theory out there is the fact that in order for it to work, one would need thousands or tens of thousands of people to keep quiet and cooperate. This just isn't going to happen. There are plenty of people who value truth above all, and would make sure the truth was known, consequences be damned. Especially with such a massive and traumatic event as this. The fact that there is ZERO credible evidence to support your theory speaks volumes to me.

The ENTIRE airframe is made of aluminum. The struts, the bulkheads, everything. And how many of those other crashes had ended with the plane hitting a steel-reinforced concrete wall? I will tell you: none. There is a HUGE difference between a plane hitting the ground at shallow angle at takeoff or landing speeds and one hitting a concrete wall at cruising speed. besides, there was plenty of debris recovered from the Pentagon site.

It makes perfect sense. Even though the bits of aircraft are all shredded up at impact, they still carry a significant amount of kinetic energy. Just like a soft lead bullet can penetrate a much harder target due to inertia and forward momentum, alumimum aircraft parts can still punch holes in concrete. And if not round, what shape WOULD you expect the hole to be?

Another hole. You used two photos. One with the big gaping hole. Notice how the hole starts from the ground up basically? Cmon man! PM even says the plane "bounced" and went 300 yards. But that cant be right if theres ONE hole on one side and then another one perfectly aligned in the middle where the "plane" stopped with wreckage in between. If it bounced then youre saying that it STILL would have left wreckage in between? Which story does PM want to use? Either one has holes.

If you look at the plane the only story that can work is that the plane skidded on the ground. It's not possible with a perfectly neat lawn right in front of the hole. Also note that Pop. Mech. never stated the truth that the crash conveniently happened in a closed down section of the pentagon where access was restricted. if that's not important why didnt they mention that fact in with there scenario?

Yeh why not? If you're out to debunk all the mysteries why wouldnt you give

a background on what it looked like BEFORE the crash not just info on what

it should look like AFTER one. If they gave the whole scenario then people

can envision. Ive read the magazine before and they give background

I sat here reading each post on this thread, which starts out with an innocent contradiction of the popular belief of a jet hitting the pentegon. I watched as more and more people threw out his 'opinion.' Nowhere in this thread did I get a negative tone from nicholass and his posts. The only negativity I found was from our very own moderator. Sure, you have the right to not agree with people's opinions, but namecalling is unacceptable for a moderator. Not to mention it's childish. No one has answered my question however. Nick, you're full of shit, my friend. You are right about ONE thing, however. It wasn't a Boeing 747 that hit the Pentagon, it was a 757 - a somewhat smaller aircraft. You need to understand that these places are made of ALUMINUM. When they hit a steel and concrete structure at 500 MPH, they essentially burst into little shreds. You're not going to see wing impressions, like you did with the Twin Towers (which were open-framed steel structures clad with glass, very different from the much more solid steel-reinforced concrete walls of the Pentagon). In the Pentagon impact, the wings essentially sheared off and were shredded with the rest of the plane, merely contributing to the widening of the hole.

The main problem with this, and nearly every ridiculous conspiracy theory out there is the fact that in order for it to work, one would need thousands or tens of thousands of people to keep quiet and cooperate. This just isn't going to happen. There are plenty of people who value truth above all, and would make sure the truth was known, consequences be damned. Especially with such a massive and traumatic event as this. The fact that there is ZERO credible evidence to support your theory speaks volumes to me.

One thing to say, the twin towers walls where every bit as strong as concrete, in fact maybe stronger.

I cut many a beam after those towers went down, Beams that were made of 3 inch thick flat stock welded into a square and tied together every 15 inches or so to the next with a 3 inch thick steel collar that wrapped around the building.

Those planes hit the towers in the 90's. The engine from one landed on a car next to a very good freind of mine and blew him into a grocery store doorway.

My point..... there would be wreckage, there would be engines, there would be seats, there would be bodies, and there would have been a much larger burn pattern if all that jet fuel came spilling out of the wings and such.

I dont buy it, you never see footage of this, around 9/11 every year you see plenty of the planes flying into the twin towers and then them falling. You then here about the heroic fight on the plane that went down in PA.

And like i mentioned before, the plane crashed into a closed down section. that was their mistake. Nah, a crew of 9 or 10 guys can wire up and bring down a building that size within 8 hours easily, in a pinch. I've known some demo guys and they could definitely have pulled it off. Besides, in order to blow a building, walls, floors and ceilings have to be opened to expose beams and support members to attach the shaped charges to. A fairly considerable amount of internal demolition work must be accomplished manually prior to setting the explosives. There would have been some evidence of this type of work in the days preceeding the explosion, if your theory were to be correct.

The plane, Pan AM , going to Europe, that blew up, in a big fire ball, over the ocean was 92% recoverd and reassembled in a hanger in Long Island. If a plane , with that happening to it , can be found, under water spred over MILES of ocean. How come there is no substancial wreckage from an inpact into a building???? I guess the original idea was to blow it up but the feds changed their minds and it collapsed on its own anyway. The same type of jet a 727 crashed a few weeks later [after 9/11] in brooklyn. it crashed, blew up and hit buildings. There are hundreds of photos of this showing jet parts everywhere. Yet no pictures of the suposed jet that hit the pentagon. WHY? Show me a link with pictures of the pentagon with jet debris. You can't, no one can. Don't you want to know why? Also , water landings, pilots are taught , if possible , not to land on water, water is a harder surface to land on. The flight that blew up over water TOTALLY destroyed that jet , yet they managed to get over 90% of it and rebuild it. I don't see that from the pentagon {suposed} jet. The FAA is suposed to reconstruct ALL air accidents, noy done at the pentagon. WHY???

arguement I'd like to say that at work (in an internet cafe') i always discuss

political issues with customers while I let the Alex Jones show play. I've had

dozens of people agree with me and i've had a few call me an asshole. at the

end of the day there are people that ive woken up. i might not shout into a

bullhorn during a demonstration but at least i can get a few people to think

outside of what theyve been force-fed by the media.

The same media that told you a plane crashed at the pentagon. Okay so where is it? Where's the plane? Have you ever even bothered to read the witness testimonies? Most of the official ones are from foreign immigrants working labour and government workers...GOVERNMENT workers. There were many many caucasians in all the photos but foreign immigrants give the witness reports to congress.

You're so busy telling me and other "conspiracy nuts" that our ideas are stupid but you cant account for any of our concerns genuinely. We're here asking for pictures of the plane but we're assholes because the gov. wont let us see them? Even Popular Mechanics can't give a good story without it being full of holes.

People died that day. We all know that. How they died is a mystery. It's a mystery because there are no photos/ Why wouldnt there be photos? Why did the FBI go to all the booths and stores in the area and confiscate their surveillance within 40 mins? That seems mighty quick considering an attack occurred at the pentagon.

I notice that you were o busy blindly following government that you never even bothered to read the eyewitness testimony of a woman who said she saw pieces of the nose from the aircraft. But supposedly the plane disintegrated according to popular mechanics. it amazes me how the plane can be disintegrated but the nose gear didnt...the first part of the plane to hit. and this wasnt at-the-time. this was after the crash as in the next couple days during excavation. But we're just idiots right?

The government knew about pearl harbour 12 days before the attacks. they let it happen for people to rally for war without question. It's a matter of complete public record. 60 years ago the government lied and let people die to engage in a world war. But i guess since cnn doesnt do an expose on it every anniversary means it never happened. You wont even bother to try and look it up with a simple google search will you? its okay. it never happened if you don't care. the government was totally different 60 years ago. they never would have been behind something as totally similar and manipulatively parallel as this right?

Kids did lose their parents. The government saw to that. Don't worry though. Congress has confirmed that at least 500,000 troops will be needed to keep up the war situation. I guess the original idea was to blow it up but the feds changed their minds and it collapsed on its own anyway. DOES ANYBODY REALISE WHAT JUST HAPPENED? We were talking about what

happened at the pentagon. Sure I called him a yokel when he called me a moron but

i tried to make up for it by being civil and wording my responses carefully after that.

Now Beeblebrox says that I'm baiting and sides with the guy who used the most

profanity. How the fuck did that happen? I sat down and spent time out of my life

typing up my thoughts and questions...NONE OF THEM WERE ANSWERED by NWM.

you're right, i see the last civility coming immediately from the emotional people who believe the 19 freedom hating hijacker conspiracy theory...because that's all that is...a theory that 19 freedom hating muslims conspired...especially when 7 of them are still alive...kinda puts a hole in the theory...

If you look at the picture, I really don't get how a boeing 757 that is "14.9 yards high, 51.7 yards long, with a wingspan of 41.6 yards and a cockpit 3.8 yards high" Can crash into just the bottom floor of the pentagon...The pilot was said to be a very bad pilot but...he would have had to hit the bottom level of the building PERFECTLY, to cause the top floors to cave in on eachother.

In picture number 2, you can see the the pentagon, fire engines and firefighters trying to put out the fire. But, can you see any remains of a plane? Wheels? Massive peices of metal?

Another thing, if you look back at picture one, you can see that the debris looks as if the building just collapsed on itself because the debris is laying right in front of where the hole in the building is, this suggests to me that the building was imploded. If a huge Boeing 757 (size measurments above) wouldn't it leave a huge iregualar looking hole? and jet fuel soaked debris burning all over the place from the initial explosion?

Also, in the last picture, it shows the exact spot where the Boeing 757 hit...The structure was still standing. No hole. No debris. Just a fire.
