im a dxm veteren but last week i had a wierd ass experience on it, i took like 700mg of dxm at like 10 at night over a friends house i stayed up all night smoking weed which in turn intensified the dxm trip, at like 5 in the morning i decided to walk home cause my friend had to go to work, any way now to the point of this thread, i was walking through a park on my way home and all of the sudden i started hearing little girls giggling, i looked all around me and no one was around me at all but it sounded like the giggling i was hearing was coming from at most only 20 yards away. i freaked out a bit and started walking faster but know i was hearin some little kids talk. i couldnt hear the exact converstion they were having but i could make some words and i was sure ive tripped my self insane. ive eventually stopped hearing the conversations and laughter in my head only after i got home and passed out. it was crazy.
anyone else ever hear shit on dxm?

I'm doing 600mg of DXM tonight, actually. This is my 3rd or 4th time to try it, so I'm hoping that I'll have a fun and enlightening time.

I heard shit when I took it. My friends were fucking with me and said something about gorillas. And I started to hear monkey noises and then I imagined (not sure if I actually saw it, hard to describe, almost like dreaming it up) an assload of purple gorillas jumping up on the porch.

Did you take it several times earlier in that same week? Chronic usage of dxm can (or at least is hypothesized to) lead to a temporary psychosis possibly due to its strong activity at sigma receptors.
