Salvia... Torch?

Im currently awaiting my first salvia trip i have a gram of 20X being walked over here as we speak:D I was just wondering if its really that important to use a torch lighter. Thanks guys.

ive never done salvia but ive heard that a torch lighter is necessary to heat it enough to have the active ingrediants released cuz it has to be a lot hotter than weed

Yeah isn't any good just burning, it has to actually vaporize. Theoretically you could send only vapors into a room full of people, with no smoke whatsoever....

Well I took the chance and smoked it without the torch out of a 2 foot bong with no water and ive come to the conclusion a torch really isnt necessary i was fucked out of my mind.

I'm guessing torch lighters would help a lot, especially with plain leaf or 5x extract, but a normal Bic lighter works for me with 20x.

What do yous mean by 'torch lighter'? Is it those wind-proof lighters which don't have a flame?

No joints. Can't use the same vaporizers as weed, but they make special salvia vaporizers. Apparently they are super powerful, and if you plan on using a vaporizer with the salvia you need to be SUPER exact with the dosage. More on all things salvia at http://www.sagewisdom.org

We used a metal one-hitter for my first hit. Then the girl packed me a full BOWL of it, and I smoked the entire bowl in one hit, but I might have sucked too hard...
