THANKS CHERRY! :-) . FEELIN ALLOT BETTER. PAIN KILLERS WORKIN WELL.

I started this thread just to see who every1 else has fears about. Im worried bout innocent countires fallin victims of nuclear weapons esp after i read a statement on yahoo sayin that if the u.s try to set up a missile launch system in space that russia would use nukes to prevent 'star wars'.

I'd be scared of America if we were on the wrong side of them.

I'm afraid of America's "Police of the World" mentality. It's almost like we're a clone of 17-18th century Great Britain, neo-colonialism if you will. Will we fall to a revolution against America?

Fuck off, why can't everyone ignore eachother like they do back home.

Yep, it has to be North Korea. The combination of a completely mentally instable, ego-maniacal leader, 22 million starving desperate people, and nukes is definitley scary. Without nukes, or even with them, they have little chance of winning so what's to stop him from pushing the button?

After N. Korea has to be the U.S. Not only do we have the firepower but we have a President who likes to use it like its his own personal toys.

Actually, it's doubtful China would back North Korea. Especially if North Korea, and not the U.S., was to start something. China doesn't really view North Korea as it's communist brother, more like some fucked up cousin that they don't want to be bothered with. Even the first time around China didn't get involved until we got too close to their border, it wasn't so much about helping North Korea as it was keeping us away from themselves.

Anyhow, a lot is different now than it was back then. They are just as concerned about North Korea as we are. China has one of, if not the, fastest growing economy in the world and is really starting to prosper. Theyv'e got a good thing going now and don't want anything like a war in the region to screw it up.

Fengzi

i think thats what they thought about vietnam....
Good point Buzz, but I think the U.S. has learned a lot from the mistakes in Vietnam. Plus I think it depends a lot on what "winning" means. If Noth Korea were to suddenly launch an invasion of South Korea they'd get spanked, hard. If, however, we were to invade North Korea with the intent of uniting the North and South under the South's leadership...well, that would be a bit tougher.

Coule be, wooman. We were in the Negril area...but I guess you can say that ANY city/country has more dangerous areas--even in the US. When traveling, I think if you use the same common sense you would anywhere else, you'd be fine. Unless you were totally stoned, and didn't pay any attention to what you were doing anyhow. LOL :o

Ah, your thinking scary to visit, not scary to the U.S or world stability. But all of those places? Misstree, I think you need to get out of the house a bit. Just kidding, most of those places are pretty messed up. Mexico's not too bad though. Depends on where you go. My first gut reaction was the same as looseends'... America, with our current administration. But after a minute of thinking about it, I have another answer that more accurately describes my fear. I don't fear any particular countries... they are mostly made up of ordinary people just trying to make their way through life. What scares me are the governments (ours included) & dictators who screw things all up.

Even the most scary countries are just populated by people trying to do their thing, whether it's grow crops, herd animals, or sit at a desk. I think we really all just want to have a good life by whatever standard we're accustomed to, have family that loves us, & enjoy our ideas of fun.

One thing...you will get attacked by people offering to sell you ganja in Jamaica. Hotel clerks will point you in the right direction, so will taxi drivers, gardeners, store clerks, and LOTS of folks at the airport. We hadn't walked 20 feet in the terminal last time when two different guys walked up and tried to beat each other to our business. I guess middle aged white folks who look like re-tread hippies are like a magnet to them.

Be sure you get to SEE it before you BUY it!!!! Lots of scammers there who will take your money and say they'll be right back with your stuff. Happened to my buddy. Luckily I hadn't invested in that adventure.

The USA is pretty scary. More nukes and a bigger army than anybody else, and willing to elect war-hungry fundamentalist Christians into the highest positions of power. Eek!

But as far as starting World War III, I predict it will happen somewhere in Asia. No one country will be to blame, but the concentration of hotspots (Korea, Taiwan, India/Pakistan, Iran, Israel, Indonesia) aren't very promising for world stability.

The places least likely to be affected by WW3, I predict, will be South America and Africa. I just don't see any country having any beef with them, so when all hell breaks loose you guys can come find me in Argentina or something.

Howdy robert,

I'm not afraid of any country, but I am worried most about Russia. Russia continues to build and develope advanced nuclear weapons, and their latest weapon, a high speed nuclear cruise missile,is particularily troublesome. Russia and China, have a mutual defense pact,as well and both are building huge underground NBC bunkers, capable of supporting 100k folks.

The other 2 countries that I'm worried about,is Iran and North Korea, both are run by evil,madmen..and both want to use nukes on their enemies.

I think that the russians are playing possum, and are moving towards the facilitation of a check-mate move. They will probably wait to make their move, until there's a democrapper in the White House, because democrappers have to git permission from the UN and the rest of the world, before they will act in defense of America. The russians are well aware,of the fact that liberal Americans and democrappers, don't understand national security or war-fare,have little resolve to fight the enemies of Freedom and basically are confused as to who the real enemies are...

Have a good one ....

Well, that's your own damn fault. Stop blaming the government for your problems. Its not thier job to be your nanny.

Scariest country? Has to be Iran, Syria, Sudan, N Korea, China, and, most of all, The United Nations. IT's soooo great to have an international organization like that, that pretty much fails at its stated goals every time. YEahhhhh, we'll stop genocide and stuff... as long as its white people getting killed! And, as long as our rich member nations have a finantial incentive to send troops! And, as long as the US (who they hate anyway) sends 90% of the troops! YEAHHH, the UN is soooooo helpful, stopping genocide in Rwanda and the Sudan and all *cough cough*

america could not own the world, but if the world declared war on it, it would do a helllll of a lot of damage before it was beaten
its a sad state of affairs because americans seem to be nice hardworking average people, but their crazy-fuck oil hungry government have got em brainwashed into fighting whatever bullshit war they want em too
ANY government that can herd its citizens like sheep scares me
AAARGH i have nothing against religion, but it can be used as an excuse for anything by people who quite obviously miss the point

"..God told me to do it.." George W. Bush, Osama Bin Laden, 2002,2003

hey while were at it, lets go back to the crusades and spanish inquisition

non-religous means such as ideals and schools of thought can be used to bend the population to whatever means (nazism, communism, etc etc)

bearing in mind all this the countries im afraid will start shit are china, n.korea, indonesia, iran,u.s and thats about it really
turkey is a secular state, excluding iran the middle east is NOT strong enough to be a threat to anyone, and russia is a joke anytime its gets anywhere it fucks itself up from the inside
