Who mixes?

Hey, I'm wondering what the best tobacco is for mixing while rolling a nice joint. Mostly looking for just something to mix it with so as not to use as much weed.
I've heard that "Drum" is good?

Aaaaggggggggghhhhhhh!!! Mixing weed with tobacco is pure sacrilege to this American. We can't understand why anyone would ruin perfectly good weed by putting tobacco in it. It's just....wrong.

Because it lasts longer meaning you can enjoy it's presence for just that much longer. Not everyone has the money to have weed flowing at all times.

Explain to me how that works? The weed's gonna last you what it's gonna last you. Cutting it only means you have to smoke more of the mixture to achieve the same high.

I've got no idea about the best tobacco for mixing, but I say just get whatever is good unmixed.

Not really, I quit smoking cigarettes over two years ago, and I have yet to notice any decrease in my enjoyment of weed. If there is any effect, it's likely to be due to the depressed blood O-2 level that tobacco induces. That's why you get head rushes if you don't smoke for quite some time.

Lots of european ppl I know mix tobacco and mj in cone shaped joints called "spliffs". First time I smoked w/ this exchange student from france I thought he had some of the crappiest weed I have ever tasted. Turns out it was a 50/50. Different strokes, y'know. I think raoul (probably spelled wrong) used top.

Most people in australia roll or smoke bongs and use tobacco in there mix.It makes it smoother especialy when u have very potent gear.but there r states in australia were people dont spin ther gear out and they will argue that puting tobacco in your mix makes it harder to smoke.
I find it rips my throat apart without tobacco.

nope, if you have nice gear you need to smoke alot less to get stoned then how much you'd need to put in the joint to make it worthwile smoking without tobacco.

and yes with tobacco you can make nice fat cone shaped joints (i never realised americans didnt do this) which last ages, and are good for passing around..

I agree with luckydan. I also find that if I don't add Tobacco with my mix I cough to the max.Also like someone else pointed out that it helps strech out the mixes just that little bit longer.My suggestion for which tobacco to use ethier Drum or Winfields blues but in the end it depends on which tobacco you like.Happy smoking.

i don't mix because i like the flavor of weed but i have seen people take the leftover tobacco (because they rolled a blunt)from inside a phillie and mix it in their joint or whatever i imagine it tastes kinda like a blunt but with paper

To the OP, Drum is good. I had a buddy that would roll joint's with a bit of it and it tasted real good.

To BeebleBrox.420 - We roll our joints with pot only here, but sometimes it's nice to flip it up a bit and throw some tobacco in it. Not tobacco pinched out of a cig, but some nice flavored shit. You should step out of the box one day and try it.

Yeah, well, I spent 20 years of my life trying to quit tobacco. I guess I can see it adding a nice flavor if you use a small amount of good-quaility pipe tobacco, for instance, but it's not something I'm eager to try. So, this old stoner prefers his weed straight up.

I cut it once. With Zen tobacco. The TASTE was good, but the tobacco smoked overwhelmed the weed and killed the whole thing. And also, by pure simple logic, if you smoke half substance that doesnt really get you high and half a substance that does, you will intake DOUBLE what you needed before. If your a tobacco smoker still gettin a buzz off half a joints worth, well you have the best tolerance Ive ever seen lol. So, my conclusion? It doesnt conserve shit, and uses a few pennies more for tobacco, it ruins the smoke, and if I have to not roll cones, Id rather not than use tobacco.

Tobacco doesn't enhance your high, it gives you a quick headrush and makes you burnout fast. Then after the headrush you just get addicted and nothing happens except addiction.

Y'know, I've smoked camels for 8 years, and my breathing is really fucked up. My lungs hurt all the time, so i'm going to quit now. I'll puff a little herb, but I want to tell you all not to smoke tobacco, because it really fucked me up and i'm so hooked on it.

in my opinion i think it is a matter of were u grew up.I grew up in n.s.w in Australia & everyone mixes there gear with tobacco ,i didnt think people smoked it strait.After traveling around our great country and living in difernt states i found that people in nth queensland smoke strait ,sth australia they smoke strait,victoria they mix and this is all in the same country.
getting back to the original question that i didnt realy answer in my first post,i prefer winfeild red rolling tobacco,but just about everyone else i no use tailer made cigerets.
Also i think mixing 50/50 is a bit much ,about 30% tobacco is good.Anyway smoke it how you wonna,its all good.......

Spliffs are a great way (esp if you use the filtered tubes) to smoke in public..yeah you need more..but pack'em with nice pipe tobacco and use your grinder on the herb..sheesh it can be nice. Oh yeah and chics dig it :-)
