You know I hate to see people in pain, so watching that was kinda rough, but honestly I don't see what the deal is. Sure she got tazered and that sucks. However, she wasn't complying, she was hiding in her car etc etc. The other option is wrestle her out of the car (which if there was a video of that, no doubt someone would have said it was police brutality as well). As much as I don't want to see her rights destroyed, but I also don't like to see people treating the police officers safety so lightly either. I don't know that the second tazering was needed, she was already on the ground scared, and probobly in shock, possibly burned etc. I don't really have a problem with the using the tazer the first time though. Why have non-lethal weapons if the police aren't allowed to use them? I'd much rather see that than her getting beaten with night sticks. Just my opinion, feel free to disagree.

I really don't see what the huge deal is. The second tazer shot might have been a bit much, but I didn't see anything that was close to police brutality.

Bitch wouldn't listen. He goes up to the car and asks her to get off the phone, and she says "No, I'm calling somebody." I mean, c'mon. That's just fuckin rude and stupid. From the second she noticed he was pulling her over, she could have just said, "I'm being pulled over. I'll call you back." And then she could have been off the phone before he even came to her window. I know that's what I would have done. There's no need stay on the phone in that situation.

So when she says no, he tries to grab her, but she's all like "Don't touch me." So he pulls out the tazer, and asks her repeatedly to comply. Bitch still acted like a clueless moron. So he tazed her. What else could he have done? She was not complying with the officer's orders. Shit. When a cop asks you to do something, it's not a fuckin request. Granted, everyone has rights, but she was just being a rude bitch.
Anyway, If he had tried harder to physically pull her out of the car, he may have had a much bigger chance of injuring her, and I think that would have been much more questionable. Instead, he used non-lethal force to get her out. I'm iffy about the second shot, but all in all this wasn't way out of the ordinary.

I don't see why everyone wants to defend the lady. Like what was said before the cop gave her many opportunites to get out of the vehicle and comply but she said "NO, i'm making a call". They give you a call at the station when you get there. No reason to make the situation worse IMO. Also the cop had only a few other options. All of which were worse than the taser. Yeah, I'm 35 now, but I remember the days hearing shit on the news about a cop being shot, and wondering if my dad was coming home that night or not. I know alot of you don't like cops--and I can't say I blame you. There are a LOT of cops out there on power trips, just looking to jam people up for stupid shit, and make their lives miserable. With that said, yes, this woman could have been your mom, your sister, etc., but the cop could have been your dad, your brother, etc. With the way shit is today, you can't put anything past anyone. She was asked, respectfully, to get off her phone and get out of the car several times. She didn't comply, and non-lethal force was used to to MAKE her comply. It's not a race thing--not everything revolves around that. If a cop is in my face, asking me to get off the phone, I'm not going to say "Sorry, I'm busy now." LOL Second shot? Unnecessary, I agree. Comply, and things go a lot smoother--obviously. :)
