Smoking in my room...

I usualy smoke in my yard when parents go to sleep but its risky, i was wondering if i smoked in my room and kept the window open how it would smell...im gonna put towels in the cracks of my door too, from the night until the morning it shouldnt still smell right?

i personally wouldnt risk it... when i go home and i want to smoke, i just do it outside or in my car... if you must smoke inside and dont want the smell, do it in the bathroom with the shower on all the way hot... the steam will get rid of the smell, and you can use the vent fan... and im sure you have heard of the dryer sheets trick lol... ah the younger years :)

Cannabis smoke smell doesnt seem to stick around nearly as cigarettes do, just blow it out the window, maybe have a fan and spray some febreeze.

My folks used to bust me all the time this way. If it's colder outside than it is inside opening the window won't help since the air will be flowing in instead of out. What I found would work for me is to get a good firm throw pillow and blow your hit out into the pillow. Most of the smoke will stay trapped inside. Also, take a lot of small hits and cover up the bowl when your not hitting it so smoke doesn't get in your room that way.

shit man, last summer i would smoke in my rooom every day literally and not once did i get caught...but one time i smoked like 9 bowls with my friend and my mom thoguth i was smokin cigs the next morning lol...but all u gotta do is put a towel at the door open the window as much as it will go and try to keep ur head outside the window everytime u take a hit, light an incensee stick and put the window down to about a 1/3 of the way closed so it'll create a suction and filter out the air from the room...thats pretty much it..always have some gum handy and some axe just incase they knock on the door, prolly wont happen tho, happy toking

After a while itll cling to every porous thing it comes in contact with. If you are intent on smokin in yer room use a fan, sit next to it and make sure there is no blow back. A round fan blows back. And make sure you have adequate intake airflow so if you have a fan dont towell the door or youll have more air trying to go out than comes in to replace it and blowback will occurr at the window.
Blow out slow and steady too.
I learned through trial and error when I was in that situation.
Also be wary of the direction of the airflow outside because all the precautions in the world wont help if its just blowin back into your parents room.

Always safest to just go for a stroll, walk the dog.

The solution is to open the window at both the top and bottom, then blow your smoke out the top since the hot air from the room will be rising while cold air from the outdoors sinks in.

man yal fu ckers are getting all sciencey and technical......could always take a toilet paper rolla nd stuff alot of dryer sheets in the middle then use a rubber band and put one over each end....blow your hit in that and it will neutralize the smell of the smoke....but then you gotta explain why your room smells like fresh laundry (being a teen it might be a lil hard to explain a clean smelling room lol)

if you do decide to smoke in your room, get some incense. have all the windows open while smoking, have a fan on after you smoke for a while. you should be fine. Most of all, don't be paranoid, it'll kill your high.

If you have a bathroom with a window, I think it's much less risky just to smoke in there. Put a towel under the door, turn the shower on hot, open the window, and smoke a few bowls. I'm just guessing that your parents are less likely to walk in on you in the shower than they are to walk in on your in your room. It also helps to have febreeze or ozium or some sort of good air freshener. Your parents might start to get suspicious if you keep taking 45 minute-long showers every night though.

i do this alot,just open both windows,close any vents (one of mine leads up to my parents room upstairs), put a towel under ur door. i usually dont pack a full bowl,just a little at a time so it doesnt make alot of smoke, dont take massive hits so the whole bowl is on fire either,all the smoke will rise up and go throughout your room. just blow EVERYTHING out the window, using an empty bic pen tube to blow it all out helps alot. then spray a tiny bit of fabreeze,axe,anything,and chill. you should know when your parents fall asleep and are up or not,just wait till they go to bed and wait a bit..i know my dad always uses the bathroom around 12 am,so i try to smoke before.

Just smoke in your closet dude, even if it's tiny. Sit in there, smoke, spray something, get out fast, close the door, stick something in the bottom, and then go eat something. That's how I always did it.

now, u can make a thing (jeez forgot the name), u need an empty toilet paper, and something like downy, then put few sheets in the tube and smoke trought it.

For draft checking, tape rolling paper over the door to your room. You will be able to tell which way the air is moving because the paper is light enough to bend in or out with the air flow. Use incense, use a fan, the blow tubes help but aren't neccesary if you have a good airflow.

if its an old house and your bedroom is upstairs and your folks are downstairs, dont worry bout it, the smell goes away in a matter of minutes. I used to smoke in my room all the time, and the only time my folks ever found out is when I told them I use cannabis- and they were fuckin cool bout it :P. Just light an incense or something if your paranoid about the smell and maybe a couple of candles.

i smoke in my room all the time and have never been caught i do alot of the things listed here like the dryer sheets, pillow and blowin out the window.... but one of my favorites was buying a couple feet of bendy plastic tubing, like 5/8 inch, and puting one end out the window and closing the window on it, so there is no blowback and just blowing out the tube, seemed to work best as long as you dont have nosey neighbors or your parents window isnt too close to yours, but incense gum and axe are you buddies if your smoking in your room

light an incense and put the fan behind the incense so all they can smell is the incense smell and fabreeze use to be a personal favorite. also it depends if your parents know what reefer smells like if they ask you what the smell is be like ...incense. i ussually lock my door too and just say im naked if they are like "let me in"

Blunts don't really mask the smell of weed. If the weed is burning in any way, shape, or form, it's still going to smell like weed. But I've heard a vaporizer is the best way to smoke without any of the beautiful aroma.

get a kitchen roll cardboard tube, or toilet roll inner tube and stuff it full of cotton wool and/or tissue paper, then when theres loads in seal one end as best as possible.

use this to exhale your smoke into, this used in conjunction with basic commom sense like: extinguising the bowl after each burn, and having a window open, and smoking near that window.

will mean that there is very little, if any, smoke odours in ya room.

i would close my door, and put a sheet in the crack at the bottom of my door, open my window, and blow the smoke out of there. spray some axe afterwards i was always in the clear. suddenly on 420 my mom woke up from the smell of axe and i was busted.

now, i dont spray axe afterwards. i use my blowtube though(tp roll and dryer sheets) as a scent killer, and blow through and my rooms smells fine.

This is what i used to do, get a toilet paper roll and some fabric softeners and stuff the toilet roll completely full of them to both ends. Now when you take a hit softly blow into the roll and the smoke will smell nothing like bud, it smells completely like fabric softeners.

i use a similar method, but i just have a massive toke out of my smokeless pipe, hold it for literally a minute, then exhale it in tom y mattress...gum, candy and deoderant and ur ready to go! :D oh! and incense also help...

It's been done many a time, by many people. And as far as the joint comment goes, I think its understood he's hitting a bowl carefully extinguisihing, and I'd like to see scientific evidence that holding a hit longer is worse for you... Everything I've ever heard about holding being bad for you is speculative. That doesn't mean its not true, but by the same reasoning its not false either. Please stop preaching things as truths without evidence... unless of coarse you have evidence, which I would be more than happy to look at.

Holding in smoke for a minute just gives all the tar etc. in the smoke time to absorb into your lungs. Think about it if you hold in smoke for 10 seconds there will be less damage than a minute. I personally can hold my breath for a minute tops, with my chest full of air. So maybe some people can hold smoke in for a minute, but that is quite a long time with no oxygen at all.
