3 questions, Acid Flashbacks? Shrooms?

I am curious, and asking people I know and stuff can't get the same answers.

1.) What exactly are Acid Flashbacks?

2.) Is it possible to have Shroom Flashbacks (someone's uncle told me it was but he never had them) ...and what exactly does shrooms do to you to give you the effects you get? I checked Erowid but I must not have read it right or looked at the right place because I don't understand.

Flashbacks are where a trip comes back, they can happen any time- years, days, weeks, whatever. They are usually just momentary, i.e. you would be driving down the road and all of the sudden the road signs melt, etc.

It is impossible to have shroom flashbacks because the chemicals, unlike acid's which stay in for a looooooooong time, are removed after about a day or two.

mushies contain Psilocybin (most of them, there are non-psilocybin shrooms), which reacts with you or something (like thc) to produce the psychedelic effects.

Acid does not get stored in your spinal fluid.

They linger quite a bit longer than 30 hours, if they didn't then the army wouldn't be able to test spinal fluid to determine if the person is capable of enlistment. It is for the reason of flashbacks that they disallow users of Acid into the military, at least in america.

Dude, they can't test for that shit unless you did it within the first 2-3 days (Acid definitely does NOT stay in your system for a looooong time) The only way the army could tell if you've done it, is by asking if you'd done it before or by testing you almost right after you did it... Plus the only acid tests ive heard of, test your piss, not your spinal fluid.

As for how it works, i dont know for sure (no one does) but i can tell you it locks into several types of serotonin receptors in your brain and causes the cells with those certain types of serotonin receptors to misfunction. Also It affects some of the receptors for epinephrine (adrenalin) in some way which i can't remember and dont feel like lookin up :). Uh I think it affects another receptor system too, but i can't remember which. - err Im talkin bout acid by the way, I know shrooms work in a similar way.
