The THC content is genetic and bud size is partly genetic too. If this is your first grow just worry about getting the plants to maturity; then on your next grow you can improve.

Yes it is in genetic but you have more affect on the final THC% in the trichomes then you many think. There are many ways to increase the % level of the trichomes but they all involve more expertise then a beginner will have. You should really do as GTC say's and get some easy grows under your belt before you start over thinking this plant. Learn to walk a little before you take off and run you don't want to get discouraged.
