Yea I used to use a coffee grinder too. The nice thing is the sticky finger hash you get after its been used a lot.yummy.

alrite i used scissors and they work just fine...and i made a great looking blunt with the pen technique .

Super sharp scissors or a wire cutters work well, if you don't have to use them for other stuff later. Unless you're breaking up a ton of weed though, I don't know why you wouldn't just use your hands.

What do we call what collects inside of my electric grinder over time? Is it hash, or am I using the incorrect term of art?

That shit gets moist and sticky and just plain smells amazing.

After two weeks (and 2oz), I cleaned that fucker out, and 5g of the stuff. We stuck it in the bubbler and it got us toasted.

Anyone else have this experience?

Nope, but I've had many experiences with grinders which usually involve taking one to a party, smoking so much you forget to pick the thing up and then off home in blissfull ignorance only to realise in the morning..

i think it's spelled keif.....and yes that shit is amazing.....would that also be the same shit that builds up on the side of my grinder (traditional hand one) that takes a knife and some persitance to get off??? i can't wait til enough of that builds up to smoke..it's like green resin or something i don't know...

Yeah, the "keef" or however you spell it are the little hairs that fall off your weed. I have a jar full of it under my bed from my "bud buster" grinder. When I pack a bowl with a couple of friends, we pack it and then sprinkle some of the keef that I have over the bowl. As my brother says, "It's like, wet, it's so dank."
