one of my indoor plants still in the veg stage only about 4 weeks old, is continuously losing its bottom leaves... they turn brown/yellow and fall off with ease, the top of the plant of course is gorgeous, any ideas, its starting to really fuck the bottom sets of leaves. and make it not the bushy plant it WAS
the picture on the right was the plant 5 days ago.

Do you know that's a sativa? I hope you don't plan on growing that inside.

8' is not average sativa's should grow up to 12'-14' when they are finished and given enough light and time.

I think it's pretty normal for the bottom leaves to turn yellow and fall off. You'll be left with the tower,

The 2nd set of leaves should not be doing what they are. They too are beginning to suffer. This is a bottom issue climbing UP the plant and will continue if you dont fix the issues causing this.
Also normal death for the first set should not be looking like it looks either.
I suspect:
Light is getting into the soil and beginning to disrupt internal nutrient flow.
Also, the type of container you have her in, when handled will cause the soil to separate from the edge of the container, also allowing light and air that is detrimental to the health of the plant.
I would suggest transplant into a more suitable container.
This should fix the problem.
