Its not legal in the USA unless you live in a MMJ friendly state but even than you could have LEO knocking on your door. But I have gotten many seeds via USPS from the States and our neighbor to the north. So unless your ordering a shitload any decent seedbank is pretty stealth and when you decide to buy email and ask how its coming.

Ask the seed dealer your buying from if they send them in unmarked box with no listing of the company name or product listing. If they do then you should be fine. Ask ask ask questions! You can never be to careful

if you order, send cash over mail to them (BE SURE THAT THE MONEY IS NOT VISIBLE) and like if the order was 150 bucks dont send like 15 bills of 10 dollars send 1 of 100 and 1 of 50 (just to be sure that this money wont disapear)

get a safe address, (somewhere where you can not get caught of anything at all, dont send them to the same place you are trying to grow your stuff, look for a house in rent where noone lives but they can still recive mail, or something like that)

Make a safe email adress with a fake name, and when you make the order use the fake name to recive the order.

AND ALWAYS BE SURE TO TELL EM TO BE TOTALLY STEALTH!!! they will not tell you how are they gonna send (security issues for them).

So wait a from 1 week to 1 month to recive your package.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER RULE #1 OF all GROWERS! DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOU ARE GROWING!!!!! your friends can be your worst enemys, those are the ones who can tell the dea about your little hobbie there, so if you dont let anyone know and make a moderate grow and all this stuff you can read about in the forums you wont have any problem.

but sounds like a long process plus Homeland Security might try practising their skill by going after stupid shit like buying seeds. I will pick it out of the next bug of weed i get and hope for the best.

Most of the people on these forums have bought seeds from somewhere and had them sent to the U.S. They are still here today and will be here tommorrow. There are millions of letters and packages that go through the usps every day. I've only heard of one person getting popped for ordering seeds via the mail.

I have gotten 4 packages of seeds from the Great White North this week and the only problem I have had is people saying they sent but I never got. If customs opens a package and finds some they send you the package w/o the contents. I had a friend send two bottles of Bundaberg Rum from AUS. and I got the empty bottles from customs because they were over proof.

I have one order that's lost out there in the system as far as I know, but the only thing from Canada that I have ever received after it was opened by the government was a big yellow envelope with 3 of Cannabis Culture back issues inside. No note, no explanation for why the top had been sliced open from one side to the other and it was left that way in the mailbox. Suckers didn't even bother to re-tape it so that everone down the line would know what they were handling.
For some reason though, small and discreet envelopes get here with regularity.
So if you are interested in buying then take your chances like the rest of us, but sooner than later I would think because the border is probably going to get tighter every year, and the risk will be greater.
