most hits of acid you've done and your experience

i've only done 1 blotter of acid and 2 vitamin C pills. I definetly was seeing shit but mentally I felt there. I was able to walk down the hall, down the stairs, and go outside for a bit, then get back in my buddy's apartment. The music definetly sounded different and more intense. Am I correct to assume that to get the most out of acid that one should do maybe 2-3 blotters?

one thing that was really nuts was my friend shined a laser pointer at me and I felt it "zapping" me. I had a warm sensation throughout my body.

Most I've taken at once = 5 hits blotter. Usual dosage = 2. If you know how strong the hits are you can get a pretty good idea of how many you might want to take. Not much of a science to it as batches of acid vary in potency as can some hits within each sheet. Although I personally have never gotten a super-strong hit out of a sheet of regular stuff. The more comfortable you are, the more time you have, the more you can take. If you have only done 1 hit before, try two next time you have the right time and situation. Weed can be used after your peak to help with jitters and to kick the fun back in. Nitrous can be done if you want to see some shit, like your friends as cartoon figures.

I've done a bunch of Big-A in my time, of all varieties, but I like shrooms the best. Less likely to be laced or cut with anything. We used to get liquid and put it in our eyes with a dropper. Can't really recall how much we did at once ... details fuzzy. Most of my bad trips were on cut LSD, usually laced with Strichnine or something.

Nitrous is cool. But go outside and get some air when you start turning blue or plae from o2 starvation. This step is critical if you're working off a tank. I like nitrous for the wah-wah-wah effect.

Most I ever did was two light tabs. I was at a friend's house, and he was gonna drop with me, but we smoked quite a bit of weed and he said he'd lie down for a second and take his in ten minutes. Ten minutes later he was out so solid I couldn't wake him even when I shook him. I still had a pretty great trip, even though I was alone in his house and couldn't wake him up. Except for when I went to the bathroom, and about 50 hands slapped the second-story window from the outside, and I freaked out and turned and saw in the mirror that I had no eyes.

Blegh.

edit: Yeah there's a huge draught since those guys got nailed, and as for the comparison, acid is much more edgy and intense than shrooms. Shrooms are drippy and philosophical, but still giggly.

Shrooms have a shorter duration and seem to leave me less dazed and strung out afterwards. The high is both visual and mental, though a bit more mellow than acid. I've always felt acid was a little to harsh.

I always thought acid was like a revolving door where you never knew where you would come (or be thrown) out. Mushrooms were more like an elevator, a pleasant trip from which you return from where you started, though a bit wiser.

Plus, mushrooms are natural, not manmade. God put it there so you could get closer to him -- or maybe that was peyote

when i was touring w/ the dead, we ate so much acid it was insane. one show i vaguely remember at the hamptons a friend and i ate a whole sheet. no joke. not at the same time. we took like 5 hits then 10 then so on... our thing was to :p :eek: see how close to jerry we could get and as we moved closer we would take hits. needless to say, i was trippin for awhile. :p :p :p :p :p

Don't smoke for the first hour of a mushroom trip... For acid, I don't think smoking matters, but I could be wrong (it never seems to affect mine).

When I went to the Yoji Biomehanika rave I had 1 tab (good quality), half a bottle of vodka and several bowls. To this day I havnt been as wasted as I was that night. I cant remember many visuals on the way to the rave but I remember feeling like I was splitting in half and I remember hearing all these people mentioning how wasted me and my friend looked (my friend had done the same amount).
Once I got to the rave the light show blew my mind away, everything had grey shading around it (similar to when Frodo puts the ring on, lol) and I was in a state of awe from the music where I could hardly interpret anything. The trip lasted a good 10 hours and I woke up feeling fine the next day. :D
