no such thing as a real purple haze cannabis plant. anything that you smoke that is purple in colour has genes that go back to blue berrie, thus giving it that pruple hughe, yes some may call it purple haze, but the true purple haze is a type of lsd from back in the late sixties and early seventies

Notanovice is correct. Purple Haze was originally LSD. I'm sure there are several strains of cannabis out there that people have named Purple Haze also, but what Jimmi was singing about was not bud. :)

I thought Purple Haze was something to do with the Vietnam War with the weed they used to smoke, you know the song purple haze-Jimi Hendrix. i dunno, maybe they just called it purple haze.
