I MADE A GRAVITY BONG BONG

ok,, well you know how you have a gravity bong andn it pulls the smoke from the bowl into the 2 liter bottle as you pull it up from the water ,, well i made a gravity bong bong,, it works the same way but with a huge downstem coming down from the bowl going down to 1 inch from the bottom of the 2 liter bottle,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it works the same way but makes clean hits like a bong,, i just tested it:):):):) :D :D :D

love grav bongs! when you get high it's so much fun to pull the bottle up and watch the smoke fill it....I had to take some monsterous hits because I would get preoccupied staring at the smoke. lol

Damn. That's pretty ingenious. So it draws the smoke down the tube and bubbles up into the 2 ltr. bottle. I can't say I've ever seen that on a gravity bong. I'm sure its been done but that's a first for me. Very cool, will have to try it.

i made something like that,, but you have to have a downstem going into the water and it will work,,, if you get a plastic soap dispenser bottle just take the pushy thing off and youll already have a plastic downstem!!!

Ok, cool idea... here are my concerns with it.

1. Despite popular opinion, water bongs DO NOT work for filtering hits. The long and short of the argument is, that the water pulls more thc out of the smoke than other nasty stuff, so while per unit of smoke there is less nasty stuff, there is also less thc which means you need to smoke more, which means you are actually putting MORE nasties into your lungs than conventional methods.

2. The other main reason (aside from the fact that they are cool as hell) that people use bongs is to cool the hit, so it goes down easier. However, I've never had an issues with water bongs hits being too hot. If they are, just wait a second or two before actually taking it in.

So basically in conclusion, cool idea, glad it worked, but I'm not seeing the point? If you got stoned thats the important part, but if you were trying to improve on the water bong, I think you may have missed.

Only thing about yours thats off is in the drawing you simply say inhale. Remember to push down on the bottle, pushing the smoke into your lungs as you inhale.

I'll agree I've never gotten ash in my mouth, and I would MUCH rather take a hit from a bong than a pipe, but science doesn't lie man. Talking about airborne nasties, not just heat, and the once in a while ash (which if you are skilled won't happen, thats not a bust I'm just saying...)

Dude, bong water is gross thc or no. Basically all this is saying is there is a ratio a/b of thc/bad stuff of smoke that does not go through water filtration. Then there is a ratio c/d of thc/bad stuff to smoke that DOES go through filtration. And... a/b is greater than c/d. Therefore, its less healthy/efficient to smoke from a bong. That of coarse won't stop me from smoking from a bong, I'm just saying, combining water bong and grav bong seems to make not as much sense as each one idividually. They are both great ways to smoke, and I'm not sure combining them makes it any greater.

Hey, not saying you didn't get stoned, and as I noted earlier, thats the basic idea, so in that sense it worked masterfully. Just maybe not as efficient as it COULD have been. Hell I smoke joints though, and they aren't as efficient for pot usage, but they are fun, so whatever works for you man.

i goota say, to put an end to any confusion: gravity bongs (or buckets) get you MUCH more stoned than anything else (in my experience).
