I've been thinking recently that all of us who use this forum should try to make a push on decriminalizing the use of cannabis. Some of you may be thinking who cares as long as I get my smoke I'm happy. Well I've been a grower for the past years and that's not good enough for me any more. I think we all should come up with a plan to push back at the goverment for all the times they have shit on us. No matter what anyone tells you it is your GOD GIVEN right to use or grow cannabis any way you want and it's time to bring an end to 70 years of oppression and the war our own goverment has waged against us. It is TOTAL BULLSHIT that this country punishes us for something that isn't even wrong. I suggest every one of you reading my thread go to www.norml.org and click on the petition link and try to kindly but firmly show your objection of what they are doing to us americans and the rest of the world. The goverment owes us an apology and I will wait for it until the day I die. Think about it what they are doing to us is totally biased and wrong and it's time for change. FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND STAND UP AGAINST THEM!! Don't ever think just because we are a small group of people that we can't change things for the better because the people who have made change are the little people like you and myself. I'll never stop growing never. Every last one of you are my brothers and sisters and I love you all. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
Until the day we can say "Free at last free at last thank god almighty we are free at last.
FIGHT!!!

Hey man, I don't think u will get alot of serious responses to this thread cause, no offense to anyone, but most the people on this site are alot younger and their opinions don't really count yet in society as it is today!!!

i agree porkchop, but then i'm 15 and would gladely suport any movement if one would be started(one a little better funded than NORML and with more politacal voice...that congressmen take into consideration anyway)
15 is as good a time as any to start demanding your rights.
Good one, Zero. I'm going to go to the link as soon as I finish this.

Zero Revolt, I friggin love you man. I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one so enraged about this. like you said, a lot of people don't care as long as they can smoke, but we can't stand for opression in any form. putting people in jail for smoking weed is no more justified than jailing them for jerking off (yes, masturbation was illegal at one time), being a woman and trying to vote, being black and sitting at the front of a bus, or any of the other outdated laws.
Only thing is though, I'm concerned if signing my name to the petition would put me and others on some police watchlist. :(

On the national level, we all should be supporting groups like NORML as ZR has suggested. Support any politician in favor of MMJ rights. I personally think that the best bet is to move to a liberal state. State legislatures are easier to influence. Hell, just a couple of years ago, the governor of New Mexico was fighting for decriminalization. Vermont/Cali/Mass legalized gay marriages over objections of the feds. We all need to move or at least support weed-friendly states.

 :(
Never Forget : Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) was arrested for masturbating in a x-rated theater. Childrens TV was never the same.
i agree with you....but people do still think that if you smoke a spliff you are going to turn into a maniac and go around butchering people or whatever...i think these lies need to be stopped before anybody will listen..
i strongly believe that weed should be legalized.....or AT LEAST decriminalized so you can do it in the privacy of your own home...
