Todd McCormick, a well know pot activist in California suggests that you use 3 parts soil to 1 part vermiculite and 1 part perlite. I have used that since the beginning and it works great for me.
There are a million variations of plant mixes depending on hydro or soil .
hen i was growing in soil i used to use.
1 perlit
1 vermiculite
1 pea sized gravel
2 soil
and if you like put a bit of cow shit in it aswell.
A good airy mix that drains well.

Hi add a mixture of Neem coir, Coco peat growing meidums along with natural bio composts, vermi composts, and if needed Neem seed meal organic fertilizer for a pest repellent effect and with soil. This will work great for growing the plant. For more info on the products visit http://www.greeneem.com
