Is Topping Done to Hydro plants? Where at in the life cycle? Will it delay my finishing time and by how much? Who has done this before.

i think u mean takeing the tip out,it all depend on what u r trying to achiev. Some people grow short stumpy plants they may top it once or twice. Some people bend them to maximize the yeild from less plants .toping will slow things down a bit but u need to worry about the amount u r going to get not if it is going to take a couple of weeks longer.......happy growing man try a few ways,

hydro in general is used to turn plants over in the shortest time period... Topping is not recommended if you are trying to Harvest in the shortest time possible.. You want to grow many short single stock plants with single monster cola harvests..

: )

good luck

My preference is to top between the 4th & 5th node early in the vegetation stage so they can recover. It adds about 10 dayâ??s to the vegetation cycle is all and the end results are worth the delay. IMO

GK is right with hydro you can grow many plants in a small space very quickly. Each plant could yield ½ to ¾ an ounce of dry bud so it could take many, many plants to reach your desired yield. The difference is where you want to spend your time if you go over the plant limit to reach your desired yield. County lock up or Fedâ??s if you go over the fed minimum lol. 20 plants could yield about 10 ounces or more grow that way in a very short time. It takes lots of air movement and good light coverage but worth the effort. CO² is the key to large happy plants that yield large buds.

just bend them bitches over! works better/faster than topping/fimming. r

Don't know of any way to firm up hydro buds, that's why I grow in soil.
