I used to get it when I got super high my first couple of times. Usually in my legs though, made it hard to walk, but I found if I just got up and moved around, or didn't think about it and chilled I was fine. So I guess if it really bothers you stop smoking. I think if you smoke less and just get a nice chilled out buzz rather than getting blitzed it could help as well. If you can smoke more sativa and less indica as indica strains will lead to more of a the physical stone, and feelings somewhat similar to what you are having. Anyways good luck, and don't worry about it too much, if it's only when your high I don't think its a tumor, stroke etc.

Could you be hyperventilating?
Hyperventilation occurs when a person takes quick, deep breaths from the top of their chest. These quick, deep breaths reduce the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the blood. This reduced level of carbon dioxide causes the arteries to constrict, reducing the flow of blood throughout the body. When this occurs, our brain and body will experience a shortage of oxygen.
some of the side effects of not enough oxygen are
numbness in fingers and toes
hand and finger spasms and pain
fainting
rapid deep respirations
rapid pulse
a feeling of shortness of breath
pressure, tightness or pain across the chest
anxiety
dry mouth
blurred vision
you can hyperventilate and not even know you are doing it.
PEACE :)

well perhaps many of the side effects are brought upon by paranoia.
Also remember that many times marijuana can do strange things but I think it is wise to not dwell on what you feel when you are high. If these feeling occur when you are not high I do suggest you seek a doctor, but I have felt my share of numb body parts, and yes I have felt a pain around the back area of my head. It could be many things.
I hope for the best. Try not to let the thoughts consume you when you are high. Your brain will feel what it is tricked into feeling.

Sounds to me like it could be an anxiety attack. These things tend to have a snowball effect. You start to get anxious for one reason or another (feeling strange from being high, paranoia) which raises your blood pressure, can make you hyperventilate, make you dizzy, etc. This makes you even more anxious so the symptoms get worse and so on and so on.
I used to get them driving. I don't know about where you are but people here in California drive like maniacs. Its bumper to bumper at 75-80 mph. One time I started to think about what would happen if I ever fell asleep at the wheel or just passed out during rush hour. This freaked me out and caused an anxiety attack which got me dizzy, made me feel like I actually was going to pass out, which freaked me out even more. After that first time I'd get them a lot, sometimes I would have to get off the highway and pull off the side of the road and chill for a bit. I started to think I had a brain tumor or something crazy so I went to the doctor and was told it was anxiety attacks.
Anyhow, enough about me. Next time this happens try doing what I do. Just take a couple of nice slow deep breathes and tell yourself "this is just an anxiety attack, just chill and it will pass" . Most likely it will and you can enjoy your high.

I deal with the paranoia by focus on whatever comforting thing I have around. I usually smoke in fairly chill enviroments, so its not hard anyways. Just concentrate on the song playing, or maybe a poster in your room or something. The advantage to being stoned is you can focus super well but only on one thing. So you will just loose track of the anxious feeling, and after a minute or two you will be enjoying your high like normal again. If you aren't in a chill atmosphere, that is going to affect things. The second time I ever smoked, I got paranoid as hell, because we were lost with another weed n00b driving, we were in woods for hours it was snowing, and I KNEW I couldn't drive if I tried, so I figured he coudn't either. Until you can learn to just relax when shit like that happens, just keep your smoking confined to times and spaces that are relaxing by nature.
