KB vs. Mids

Okay. I don't know if this has been posted before, so please don't get annoyed if it has. I've been smoking for like... a year and a half, but I still don't understand the difference between kind bud and mids. I mean... I know that mids are shittier than KB? at least... that's how they're treated here. I feel so marijunanally-ignorant!

lol not necessarily. But generally. mids are just mid grade. Not bad, but not top of the line. shwag is like a kia. mids is like a toyota. KB is like a porsche. And my weed is like a maybach..

There is no specific point at which weed stops being mids and starts being Kind Bud. However, its generally understood that KB is good, and mids are somewhere in the middle and of coarse shwag is garbage.

the whole thing confuses me so bad. I know that when I get shit from Philly, for example, it's such a better high than if I get it from my hometown (which one person said tasted like really really really shitty, dry mids). and, well, don't even get me started about all the different strains. I have so much to learn haha.

Mids take a J or 2 to get you stoned. KB is one-hitter quitter. That's it, man.

KB is generic for good stuff, really good stuff, no seeds and very few stems, lots of trichomes (crystals), very sticky, usually fresher and much more potent and expensive. Mids has seeds (not as much as shawg), more stems, less Trichomes and THC and is cheaper. Only smoke KB though, shitty weed makes you feel like shit and is not worth killing your lungs over.

I'm from Upper Bucks County... Allentown/Doylestown area to be exact.

Lehigh Valley/Poconos, but the easton side of the valley. So not too far away from you, but not exactly next door. I don't particularly like the bud around here, so I get stuff from a friend in NYC. From my experience what is mids in one area will pass for KB in another. Don't get too hung up on what exactly the weed SHOULD be called. If you get a good high, thats the most important part. Also, if you don't like the weed you dealer has, see who he gets his shit from. If you move up the "ladder" you will have more options on weed variety, as many smaller quantity dealers only sell one variety, whereas the larger the bulk, the more types will become available. Just be prepared to buy in larger quantities (this is a better idea anyways).

yeah, easton's about 30 minutes away from me, I think. As of late I've been getting all my weed for free, but now I'm going to have to start paying again, which makes me very sad. I'm too poor for this habit, man. haha. the worst part of living here is that I don't know the dealer personally, I have to go through a friend who has to either talk to him... or go through another friend. Pain in my ass.

mids aren't bad. I can smoke like 5 hits of mids and I am high enough to last.

best not to smokf mids all once at a big time, but in mid-ranged amounts frequently. They do the job nicely and save me a shitload of money.
