How much alcohol do you consume per week??

I just checked here http://www.bupa.co.uk/health_information/asp/healthy_living/lifestyle/alcohol/alctest.asp
and last week I had around 65units of alcohol across 5 days

Some how I think thats pushing it a bit.

What does everyone else drink on a weekly basis??

I don't drink every day, sometimes I might go a week without a drink but when I do drink I binge like fuck and get totally wasted. I've got a bit of a weakness for the good ol' booze, I'm stupid with it, I never learn my lesson. I don't drink the same amount each time I go out, sometimes I may drink about 7 or 8 pints of beer and hardly be able to walk, and other times I may drink 12 to 15 pints and be reasonably fine. It depends how much sleep I've had and how much food I've eaten. It's the same with spirits (vodka/whiskey/gin),
sometimes I can drink a whole bottle and other times I will be wasted off a few shots; it's different every time I drink.

i had 29, and i drank all week on a liter of vodka, a half pint of peppermint schnapps, and a 6 pack of beer through the whole week

one of us entered stuff in wrong or either you are a serious fuckin alcoholic because i consider myself an alcoholic

i may have been a little greedy with the numbers on liquor though, i put 4 shots for a half a pint, and then 6 one day and 7 another day for the liter, and i didn't finish the liter

My average intake is around 20 unit's a day, has been for about three year's now. Yeah I know it'll kill me in the end but, hey, what doesn't? And at least I won't get to the age where I'm clogging up the isle's in supermarket's or driving a rover down a small country lane at 15mph... ;)

15 pints and you're fine? Bollocks. You probably couldn't even physically drink 15 pints of anything.

I just drink when I feel like it (which isn't very often.) I just drink 1-2 pints (or equivilent) in one night, then stop. I stopped wanting to get drunk after I drank an entire bottle of vodka in about 10 minutes...

I also don't like drinking more than about 2 pints because that's enough liquid for me in one go, I don't see the point in drinking if I'm not thirsty.

I drink about 2-3 glasses of wine a night, but a lot less when I have bud. And like a lot of people, hit it more on Friday nights after the week's work. As for right now, I'm having my third glass o' wine...no bud for the moment.

You drank approximately 20 units of alcohol in the last seven days.

So, what does this mean for you?

Still within the recommended limits for men - but only just. You should consider cutting back your alcohol intake by looking back over each week, judging your drinking habits and having at least one alcohol free day each each week.

I have worked many a pub shift through the years and I've seen men drink
30+ pints on a saturday afternoon between televised sport, horse racing,
football and the crossword ~lol~
believe me it's possible..........extremely unattractive - but definately possible :p

Bloody hell, they must be pissing constantly...

Oh well, at least we can be safe in the knowledge that they will die early :)

Thankyou Lulu.

Kombucha, I meant 15 pints throughout the whole day, not in one sitting. And I said reasonably fine, which means not bad considering what I've drank. I'll go out say early afternoon, have a couple of pints then have some lunch, then carry on drinking until dinner time then have another meal, then I'm set for the night. I know people who can drink 25 pints and still be able to walk and I'm sure there are people who can drink more than that. I'm not saying there's anything good about that though.

Yeah ok. I don't know why you'd want to drink that much though.

I don't intend to drink that much, I just go with the flow, do what I feel like doing. As I said in the earlier post I've got a bit of a weakspot for booze, I don't know when to stop, once I've had a couple that's it - I'm out for the night :)

I know it's stupid.

Zero alcohol consumption for me. I drank bucket loads when I was a teen and early 20's. Now its just the kind buds for me.
