Question about tripping on DXM

I know there's a thousand other posts like this I'm sure.... but oh well, fuck it... I am planning on tripping on DXM for the first time this friday or saturday night, but I have a few questions about the trip.

How long does it last?

What works the best? (excluding triple c's... not doing that shit)

For a good trip, how much would I have to take (Mg wise) I weigh 250 pounds and i'm 6'4 1/2.

Am I going to be hungry during the trip?

How badly am I going to want a cigarette (I can't smoke cigs in my own house... my parents would kill me... if worse came to worse i'd just fucking chill at my friends house since we can smoke in his house)

I've never tripped on shrooms, acid, or anything else... all I've done is drink, smoke marijuana and alcohol... and i've used cocaine once... but that's it, so I want to have a really enjoyable time when I trip and I want to trip major balls. Any information would be appreciated :).

It lasts for about 6-8 hours, and you feel sort of "above baseline" for another day, at least I do.

It's good that you don't want to do triple-C's. All too often I see people who do DXM with CCC's only, and that's it. They're BAD. The product that I use is called "Dex-Alone". They're these little Gelcaps that you can buy, they have 30mg of Dextromethorphan HBr, and that's they only active ingredient. They work rather well. I'm not sure about which cough syrup is safe to use, maybe someone else will know.

You are probably going to want to take about 500 mg your first time, and then increase it with each subsequent time.

You probably won't be hungry.

You might want a cigarette, it might help to chill you out.

You don't actually "trip balls" on DXM... it's kind of hard to describe. It's fun, though. Best of luck.

It lasts from 5 to 8 hours on one dose, you can increase the time it lasts by taking more later on.

Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough syrup is what I use, one 4-oz bottle has 354 mg of DXM in it and for a first timer is plenty.

You won't be hungry or if you do get hungry, you won't be able to eat, at least I can't.

Cigarettes are nice when your on it, if you blow the smoke out of your mouth slowly, it's cool to look at, but personally, I don't smoke as many cigs when on DXM cause I don't want them, but I do (doesn't make sense, I know)

It's more of a dissocitive drug, meaning you don't really "trip", but you'll feel seperate of your body.
