View Full Version : Curing Buds
No not the way you do it after you harvest the plant but my question is, would the same method work if lets say you bought a quarter from a dealer and put it in a jar just as if you were curing a harvest? Or once its cured once it wont be able to be cured again? I dunno i was just thinking about it

It depends how you stored it. If you left it anywhere where light/heat/air can get to it, the weed will lose its potency after time. If you stored it correctly like in a jar or plastic container somewhere cool and dark, it will keep for quite a while and maybe cure more. I've heard some people say that storing weed for a long time makes it smoke smoother but I don't know. I wouldn't have the will power to leave a container full of weed sitting there and not touch it; how about you? :)

if its cured properly it dosent really need it.. but yes if u did do it, after a while the taste and high would change even more for the better but unless youre living in weed theres not much point

try a water cure.ive never done it but if u go to overgrow.com u can find out how. they all seem to love it and it takes the chemicals out and makes the smoke smooth.

i had never heard of curing before i came to this web site so i tried it this year with my plants and i must say it works well and it is best by far makes your pot a lot smoother as one of my plants was a mango cross now talk about a smelly not too nice taste when first dry but after a month of curing they came out so much better taste %100 better and smoother and i have found it much stronger as a hit too. So i stand by it for sure know it worked great for me. And the dry bud cuts up sticky as well so i stand by it just get better with time if you do it right to start with.
