Did You Get High The First Time?

I've always been thrown off by people who say that they failed to get high the first time they've smoked. Frankly, the first time I smoked, I got fucking ripped. Of course, I'd had a lot of vodka, and this led to my throwing up (thankfully in a rubbish bin) and realizing that perhaps I ought to refrain from mixing the two.

Question is, did you get high the first time you smoked? If not, why do you think this is.

No i didn't get high the first time i smoked and the reason was i didn't know how to inhale. lol

I got high the first time, but not even close to as high as I got the second time. The first time I smoked two joints with someone else, out in the woods, I think it was schwag and they were real thin joints. The second time I hot boxed an explorer with a fat ass blunt full of decent nug, it was snowing and we were lost. It was one of the more intense moments of my life. I think technique has alot to do with why people don't get high the first time. There may be something chemically different in your brain like with cigs after the first time you smoke, but I don't know anything about that.

I don't think I got high my first time. I got very relaxed and a little giggly and spaced out, but it was nothing compared to the second time I smoked. I got absolutely wasted.

I think it wasn't until my 3rd time that I felt the effects. I was almost positive I was doing it right, so I asked some friends and it turns out I was. I came to the conclusion that it was because I'm 6'0" and 280, but I asked a friend who is very small and she said she didn't get high the first time either.

I got high my first few times, but the third time has to be the most torn up I've ever been. I went up on a rock overlooking town with two friends, and we hit a bottle bong. On the way down the hill seemed twice as long, and we were walking on the grass in between the sidewalk and the road (town is small enough to have that) and the sun was setting, and I just fell face first into the grass, and it was so soft I thought I fell through the world and was in empty space, like in some video games where that happens accidentally.

i got well mashed i smoked abit of hash i bought for this geography trip was sittin on this log and nearly fell off coz the rush was really heavy compared to anything id evr done only alchol at that point. a good proper feeling of being out of it after that js kept goin really.

Heh, that's awesome. My first time my brother just took a bunch of hits out of his bubbler and then shotgunned me. I really didn't get high at all. My second time, however (pipe, 2 joints, bubbler, 2 1/2 foot bong) I was high as fuck. I was stuck on it since then. :)

I didn't get high the first time I didn't know how to inhale properly.
It was in an Amsterdam coffee shop though so it was a fantastic experience anyway.
I enjoy smokin' with newbies cos they're so much fun the first couple of times. :p

I'm in the same boat with a few of you guys..never got high the first time either. I was with a few people at the lake and they had a real small one-hitter and I hardly knew what I was doing.. Noticed I blew out a little bit a smoke a few times and thought I was gonna get ripped but felt nothing. The second time was unfortunately out of a tin can after I had watched some people doing it a couple days ago, and I didn't own a pipe. That time though I got ripped..probably one of the best weed highs I've ever had. I had been playing Neverwinter Nights (a PC RPG for those of you that don't know) before I smoked and after I went back to it..I remember I had a complete body buzz..felt like everything was numb and I kept seeing my right hand grow larger and then shrink real small and grow larger again. There was no way I could focus on the game anymore..lol..so I just ended up going out and sitting on the porch enjoying one of the best times I've had..and even though I was by myself it was great.

i didnt get high for my first 2 months of smokeing(probly smoked 10-15 times) but im glad i waited it out because now i get FLOORED by just a little regs(i've been smokeing for 1 and 1/4 years and i smoke heavaly so im not really sure why it affected me differnt...but im glad it does)

Well, I got frickin' RIPPED my first time smoking. Me and my best friend smoked an entire dime (a lot for us back then, ^_^) from a Pepsi can bowl. It was probably....1 out of a total of 4 or 5 times that I've actually seen multiple-colored waves if I stared at something. It was badass.
That was just a LITTLE over a year ago.

i got high the first time although the high was mostly in my "head".....I no were nearly got as high the first time as i did the second third and soo on. i think the body is belt to reject new chemicals at first but as your body is introduced to them they beggin to feed on them your brain has these things i forget what they are called but when your brain is introduced to certain chemical/ feelings it begins to send out more and more of those chemicals its self which is why people become depressed or have addictions.. so theres no way someone can say they got stoned the first time as they do regualary now. i was a newby to smoking while i lived in mastrict holland so i had access to great pot and still did not get the same high as i do now the first time

First time I got high was in high school, my senior year. I was living at my school (boarding) and was so paranoid I was going to pass out I asked my friend to promise me he'd carry me up to my room if I passed out (3 floors -- hehe). I didn't. It was hash and I choked my lungs out. But I got high.

Ruined it later that night by getting drunk for the first time and barfing on the front porch of a teachers house (it was a sports party). They dragged me back to the dorm and managed to manuever me up 3 flights of stairs to my room with no one noticing. I remember none of that.

Fitst hangover the next morning. I remember that.

i had been selling weed for about 2 years prior to when i got high (12) and i gave had a half on me to bring my friends birthday party and i was at my step grandmothers with my step bro supplying his aunt and while we were there finally after a year or more of askin me to smoke with him i did... i smoked about 2 grams in a glass pipe to myself with him and my step aunt out in their farm field... then after this we went right to my buddy's b-day party where i basically kept partying till it was all gone, and we played nintendo ALL night long

i tried it..didn't get high,again,didn't get high but got busted,2 years later still didn't get high, then i got so high it was amazing. now i get high all the time and im an extreme lightweight but i love bein a lightweight.

I didn't get high the first time, and I knew I was doing it right because it made me want to cough. I just had to wait until the next day, I did everything the same way, and it worked.

how come i dont get high like that anymore:(..well i did at one point..not the first time i smoked...didnt inhale properly..smoked one bowl out of a tin foil pipe with 5 friends....it took about 4 times and an experienced smoker to get it right....then whenevr i had newcomers...i made sure they exhaled through there nose...so they know they inhaled and thats how they got super high
